Yes what he did is indefensible and the whole county thinks so !

I don't really care that he took his kid to stay with grandparents... What HAS confused me though, is that his wife wrote an article about rhwir Covid experience where she said explicitly that their son was at home with them and helped look after Dom at the peak of his illness when he couldn't even get out of bed, "playing doctor" and getting involved, so that it wouldn't be scary. but apparently he wasn't there... I don't think describing a possible life or death situation as swanning off somewhere is the voice of a sane person.

We all need to calm down and remember the original rules were made to protect the NHS from being overwhelmed.

As a nation we achieved that, now it should be up to families and individuals to decide upon the risks they want to take in meeting one and other.

A bit strange imo.

Those same 2 parents who could possibly have infected the child wanting to drive across the country and possibly infect their wider family. Bit stranger imo.

A life or death situation that they could only make worse, not better, by doing what they did?

It's been nice having sane Arista for the last few weeks, but I guess that's over again now?

I don't think they wanted to drive across the country. I think the family as one made a decision in the best interests of the whole family...like any family should do in the same situation.

Especially the ones who believe the government to be a bunch of clowns.

A families prerogative

A weak rebuttal but fair enough.

Well either her story is fiction, or his reason for going to see the parents is a lie.

It's irresponsible and had you or I been caught driving that distance at that point in lockdown it would have been a very different story
