Adele doesn't care about quantity trash, she cares about quality music and quality music is difficult to make so it takes a lot of time

Taylor swift has sold 1.3million copies of folklore in her first 24 hours, breaking the worldwide global record from herself. This is despite physical copies not even being in stores. She sold more in 1 day digitally than leading artists do in a week/ 2 weeks in total.

She has outsold Chromatica in a day amongst other leading artists albums

Pretty much shows that the reason this came out suddenly wasn’t because it was some spontaneous Self Isolation project, but because the team had to hurry and release before the billboard rules changed soon. Hey. Get your coins I guess. Hopefully Rockstar stays strong where it deserves though.

Just listened to this through and Betty is a major tune. August also very good

There's a lot of good stuff on the album but I do think it's overly long and some of the songs are quite samey. Also all very serious and mellow, nothing upbeat in there really despite the length
