good, terrorists lose their rights to live the moment they cause chaos and death among us

they lost their rights of being members of the Islamic religion, and Denver is correct, it states in the Quran that terrorism is one of the sins in that book

It's about time they put the army on the street.
I hate to say this, but they need to shoot to kill. These kinds of people are planning mass murder and have to be stopped.

It's complicated isn't it, because you mostly see these kinds of comments on news or social media. And racial/religion statistics are forbidden in France, so really you can't make any polls on it. Again, exaggerated news and social media beef between politics, nothing new really.

arista 29-10-2020 03:06 PM

Capt. Remy what is your threat levels?

Cherie 29-10-2020 03:07 PM

Can see a mosque attack in retaliation for this in the not so distant future and on it goes

bots 29-10-2020 03:23 PM

i don't think it will be the end of it today, for sure

I think Macron said we are back to maximum threat level as from today. As we have a new Covid-19 lockdown from tomorrow to December 1st, it's important to feel safe that one hour per day we can go out.
Me personally, I've learnt to live with "it" since the Paris attacks in 2015 like all French people. It can happen anywhere, anytime. It shouldn't be the way to go, but really life must go on so you don't really think about it. Until last week and today where it's all happening again.

...that’s exactly what is hoped to create with the ‘terror’ that people become disabled by fears of living their lives ...and that’s the control that is sought more than anything...the way to not be a victim is to not allow that control to happen and to live a life your own ways...(...within COVID restrictions obviously because those are for your own wellbeing and the well being of those around you...)...

It is hoped that to create but us French people went right back to our ways of living, having dinner outside, enjoying "cafés", just living life. You know, things that are known to define us French. We won't back down. They can try, but it won't happen anytime soon, if not ever.

...yeah, I was in Paris not long after the 2015 attacks and although, some areas felt a bit more subdued, an obvious feeling of sadness ...?...and more armed police etc...it was lovely to see the people of Paris all living their days the way the always do, the way they were born to do, you know...with smiles of love on their faces and passion in their voices .....(...and in their flaying arms....)...

Good on Macron for supporting cartoons of Muhammed. France isn't a caliphate and they don't have blasphemy laws, so why shouldn't cartoons of him be allowed?

Not true.. total misinformation

Those that have wreaked the most havoc in Europe have been radicalised home grown terrorists.

Yeah, thank goodness we have the religion of love and peace to behead people for showing cartoons, and setting fire to flags of a country which doesn't enact blasphemy laws...

Macron is doing the right thing.
