He still got generous scores imo , and too many people got 25 points .

That isn’t the point lol

Lady Leshurr and Rebecca both had very smooth skates, a good amount of skill for week 1 shown and they got the same score. It’s not fair.

Denise should have been on next week so she could heal. I know she has potential to be great.

They pushed Graham back a week, I don’t know why the same wasn’t done for Denise

Rebecca routine had too many lifts.
I actually think Lady Leshurr was underscored, she should have got a 7

Amy Jade 17-01-2021 09:09 PM

Jason and Joe were both overscored.

But Rebecca didn’t fall over

I really like Joe and want him to do well but he fell and that Should’ve had more repercussions. 5/5.5s at least.

She didn't do much skating .

Yes, but every judge was going to give Joe at least a 7 so he'd have got a minimum 28 votes.

He got less than that because of a point deduction for the fall.

I do think the marking was odd, out of 6 contestants, 4 on the same highest votes given was odd.

For me personally Rufus was the one more likely to be in the dance off.
I do agree Denise should have skated next week too.

However it's a fact on the voting of the judges, that had Joe not fallen, he'd have been by at least a fair few votes more, the clear leader on the night.

If their guideline is, if there's a fall then around a point is deducted, then that's what happened.
As all judges said until the fall, they intended to give Joe at least a 7.

Lewismacfarlane 17-01-2021 09:35 PM

Denise I see potential but she was injured

I think it's fixed for Vardy to get to the final, something feels weird .

And I think they delibratly did more lifts to avoid skating , so that I agree on .

And I know Denise had an injury but her performance was underwhelming , and it would of been fair if she was in the skate off.

And the judges giving Rufus the golden ticket is a joke  , he was the weakest by far ! .

I absolutely AGREE Well said GH

I thought most of the comments were positive lol. Especially the post about her being in the skate off.

Mardy Vardy to win!!!

Vanessa 18-01-2021 04:17 AM

Even with the fall, Joe skating was excellent.
Without the fall he would have got 28 and top of the leader board.

Well that didnt take long to raise its ugly head on here :nono: maybe people just dont know who she is,and lets face it most people vote for who they like and know of,not the skate.

which is the best way how to vote, vote for who you know

since what do we care about silly ice skating anyway, which is just boring

And yet again, the demographic of ITV voters have decided that they don’t like the young, confident black woman. Let’s not forget that this is the audience that filed 25,000 complaints about a dance routine that raised awareness for Black Lives Matter.

She is a very fun and energetic personality, she gave it her all, she went above and beyond what was asked, she delivered a smooth skate with no trips or stumbles etc. There was no reason whatsoever she should’ve been put in the dance off.

You can say it’s about who people like all you want, but it you consider also how hated Rebekah Vardy is by the British media/public and how recent her latest ‘scandal’ took place then by your theory of people voting for who they like surely she is the one to receive the least votes?

Nicky91 18-01-2021 12:41 PM

also Joe didn't fall over :fan:

I've never heard of Joe but I don't watch soaps , pre jungle and pre Colleen drama I'd never heard of Vardy .

And there's a few others I don't really know that well.

It's extremely unfair that Leshurr who was the best skater of the night is in the skate off ,but as you said it's a popularity contest.

But the judges scoring was weird and the golden ticket is rigged .

She was good , but of all the things I have seen on the Internet today about it, TIBB was the only one to mention race, it always happens on here, I don't think she should be bottom, but as I said most people vote for celebrities they know and like , I have never heard of her ,but I dont vote but maybe that was what happened here nothing to do with race.

Amy Jade 18-01-2021 06:36 PM

Black women have done terribly on this show since it's revival, despite being some of the best dancers. It's really not a reach to call it casual racism.

I remember Perri Shakes-Drayton being a fantastic skater/dancer and being miles ahead of her competition but going out in week 3/4. It’s disgusting
