Charles wasn’t worthy of being in the same room as Diana, he treated her like crap and showed her no loyalty, so she seeked a man who would adore her as she deserves.

I fear if they didn't leave Meghan might not have been here and Archie will be without a mother. It's quite scary to think about tbh. They did the right thing.

Yh I always got the sense of Diana being very caring and motherly and as you say, having that much more closer attachment to her children, i think that was definitely a key part of what separated her a little bit more than the other royal family members.

The royal institution just come across as very cold to me watching this interview. Like there’s no compassion or duty of care for the safety of Harry, Megan and his children, it just seems very unsupportive.

...this is so heart wrenching.....

Definitely.
I'm glad I am watching this.
While a Monarchist, I have felt a long time the hierarchy of the Palace, the institution as it's termed here.
Is a shocking set up.

As to Prince Charles, he used Diana.

Had Charles really loved Diana, this could have happened then.
However he is heir to the throne,so it couldn't, also though I'd say he probably really never loved Diana at all.
She was just used for legitimate heirs.

And?

Shall we talk about Charles and his relationship with his sons, his treatment.of his children's mother, his long continuous affair etc etc

Even sinister I think possibly.

Yes I agree there Joey. The institution seem to be very ‘hush hush’ and shady in my opinion.

Which was Prince Harry's fear too Luke..
So yes, they've made the right decision in my view too.

A great interview tbh. They came across really well and didn't trash anyone at all like it was being made out to be. I really hope for the best for them and wish them a lot of happiness. I hope the toxic bullies and media don't get to them.

Definitely . Seeing those images and seeing them being more of a family and being able to enjoy the freedom of being more involved with their children and being a lot happier as opposed to how it was for Harry (and William) growing up, being more controlled in a system.

Why should she stay faithful when he never did.

I've always said the same thing

Diana gets slated but Charles was seeing Camilla behind her back , Diana had the dirty done on her and I'll always have sympathy for her .She was vulnerable and she actually had second thoughts about marrying Charles but felt she had to go through with it .

joeysteele 08-03-2021 09:51 PM

Actually a very endearing interview.
Prince Harry showed both the hurt he feels at the failure of the Royal institution, plus I sense from his rather cold Father too.

Prince William wouldn't dare seem to support Prince Harry either being the more like programmed heir to the throne, because quite frankly, the public would probably prefer Prince Charles NOT to be the next King but to hand it on to Prince William.

They're genuine togetherness and affection, showed through and was refreshing to see.

However, the name of who raised the skin colour offensive comment, will likely need to be made known.
It's a shocking statement.

Good interview, really interesting and in my view genuine too.

LukeB 08-03-2021 09:52 PM

Other than the queen the whole royal family seem quite cold and unloving to me.

...so damaging for some senior royals and the whole royal establishment, I think ...who don’t look good at all in contributing to the decisions made by the young family...
