OMG someone made a phone call, absolutely disgraceful it must be Meghans fault!

Susanna Reid, who never admits to any wrongdoing on H&M's part said on GMB
“I have defended Meghan and Harry frequently but this feels to me slightly different, this feels to me like they did their big interview, they didn’t get the response they wanted, now they are revealing private conversations through a friend very publicly and that makes me feel very uncomfortable”.

Fair play to her for her honesty.

Another avid M&H defender, Trisha Goddard, agreed with her.

Well,well well.

Get them on the Jim Davidson podcast.

Or GMB's coverage of Harry and Meghan tracked well with the gammon and they want to keep that going in the wake of Piers' embarassing exit.

Programs like that don't exist to tell you the news, they exist to keep you watching and they cultivate their content accordingly.

Can there be a Harry and Meghan Windsor subforum? Sick of the sight of their names, who even cares about them at this point...

Most gammon will be out working at that time of day, keeping the economy going.

I do think people are struggling (perhaps willingly?) to realise that live telly is a dying format and thus, it is much more popular in a certain demographic... so what is popular on TV doesn't necessarily reflect society as a whole at all these days. I honestly don't remember the last time I watched live TV (OK that's a lie, I do, it was the New Year countdown, but before that...). We just got rid of Sky again because we simply don't use it. My kids (11 and 8) have NEVER used over-the-air television in their lives. My 11 year old finds the concept of it baffling and somewhat hilarious; not being able to choose what to watch and when, etc... it's all she's ever known. Her friends are literally all the same, so in a decade or two I think it's just going to be a completely dead format for young adults.

In short; GMB content is tailored to the middle-aged+ lower middle class.

It airs at 6am - 9am, the scheduling is specifically tailored for lower-middle class gammons and gammines to gnash their teeth on while they have their morning coffee before they head off to work to tell their workmates all about what's annoyed them now.

Indeed. Several other admirers as well today being asked their opinion on news channels not liking their latest stunt. Say they are embarrassing themselves.

Even Phillip on This Morning said its time to shut up and people are getting tired of it....

Marsh. 17-03-2021 03:14 PM

Oh Philip Schofield, Susanna Reid, Trisha Goddard. Really digging deep there.
Any day now you'll have the Queen herself. Riveting stuff.

finally people are coming to the inevitable conclusion about this woman

Marsh. 17-03-2021 03:22 PM

It is funny when all the people who create news articles, entire segments on their shows, give their opinion every time they breathe are saying "we're sick of it". Then stop?

You don't need weather reports to see all those clouds that are obscuring your judgement of H&M surely? :fan:

I don't have a personal judgement of Harry and Meghan either way though, my judgement is reserved purely for the garbage press (it's a common TiBB theme for me) and the people who have worrying one-sided fantasies that it's realistic that in a family squabble, one person is likely to be "the monster behind it all!".

I don't "prefer" Harry and Meghan as people to any of the other Royals, I've said that it's clear Harry adores his granny etc. and it's a shame that their relationship is damaged. I think William and kate - as far as the megarich go - seem like genuinely decent people too. The middle tier (Liz's kids) are a mess but  everyone has known that for decades.

I actually don't think the internal family drama is anything like as "huge" as people seeking drama like to make out.

The problem is the reporting, that's what I judge, along with people who are hoodwinked into a witch-hunt off the back of their own prejudices.

If you spend too much time imagining you may well miss the real stuff!
