We can carry on pretending that his previous - well documented, from his own mouth in his own words - friendship with Meghan didn’t happen or wasn’t a factor but it’s just getting silly at this point. There are videos of him - not hearsay, not rumours, not “reports” - freely talking about how he felt ghosted, wronged and hurt and you’d have to be extremely naive to believe that his dented ego isn’t a large part of this story, and didn’t massively play into the behaviour that got him dismissed.

It’s fantasy land stuff. The videos are right there, and there are countless more.

I already know all this. Whoever said his friendship with Meghan didn't happen?
So because he had a personal history with her means he shouldn't be allowed to express his opinions? - which matches the opinions of many others who have no history with her. He had personal history with Trump too....and many other high profile people who he likes and yes, dislikes - I've been reading his columns for years and Meghan is far from the first he has had very strong negative opinions about....

If his ego is dented that's his problem but not really vitally relevant because it doesn't mean he is making up stuff about her - because he has never said anything at all others aren't saying, he's just more full on about it.... its not that surprising when she cultivated his friendship for ages for the doors he could open for her and then cast him aside when no longer useful like she has done with others before him?
and no, I don't think that is a massive part of what got him dismissed, because as you say, he's said about her ghosting him on many occasions on the programme without any repercussions at all.

....you ignored the part of my post that asked you a question about the interview?

GoldHeart 08-04-2021 01:00 AM

There's having an opinion and then there's having an extremely creepy unhealthy obsession with someone.

Piers Morgan will never accept the fact that Meghan as he put it "ghosted him " , he's pathetic and he'll never move on. He'll continue to use her name to stay relevant like the desperate parasite that he is .

And as I keep saying , what on earth does his wife think and feel about all this I wonder .

I’ve responded to the part about the “lies and BS in their interview” multiple times, I’m not going to go in circles with it, if you need a refresher on my thoughts on that you can go back and read those posts.

He was a figurehead for a few MH charities, not a clinical psychologist :joker:. It's OK to not understand the difference :pat: but surely when it's been explained over and over, you have to let it go?

oh come on, Harry has been promoting those charities along side his own mental health struggles for years. He connected them together on a personal level. To say that then doesn't apply to Meghan too is just laughable

Spot on.

Why the scum has fans I have no idea. The things he's done in his "career".

You don’t have to have a degree in mental health to pick up the phone and call someone who works in mental mental health and it’s not like they never had the cash to go private is it.

They didn’t het help because she didn’t need it.

Your a family man be honest with your self if someone you loved was feeling suicidal you would walk through fire to get them help but Harry did nothing

Come on wake up and smell the bull sh1t

It literally does not mean he knew what to do when his wife was in crisis. Harry may have some personal experience and have worked with a few organisations, but he doesn't even have any sort of qualifications. My wife is an actual, qualified Mental Health professional working alongside other qualified medical professionals every day... working with people struggling with their mental health every day... it's completely different when it's your own family or friends who need help, and many actual professionals panic and don't know what to do in that situation, let alone a charity figurehead. People are trying to paint him as some sort of mental health expert and it's utterly ridiculous. They were in a unique situation, she was struggling, he didn't know what to do. What's so hard to understand about that?

When my mum was suicidal, and made multiple actual suicide attempts, in my late teens and early 20's I did everything I could to pretend that it was fine, it wouldn't happen again, it was a one off, or it simply wasn't happening.

An active senior Royal can't just pick up the phone and call a helpline or seek private mental health help without going through the institution and accepting the mental health professionals provided by them. Trying to act like they can just call the Samaritans or their local GP's community mental health nurse like anyone else is utter nonsense. That's what they were trying to express throughout the entire interview, but people have chosen to ignore it because they've already made up their minds about "which side they're on" and so she must be "lying about having poor mental health". A really toxic mindset to follow.

Not to mention, he confessed to his own mental health struggles. And when in a place where you're struggling you can barely help yourself let alone a loved one.

"They were mentally unwell, why can't they think straight!! He has money!!! :fist:"

But it does matter when an allegation of racism in the royal family leads to disgracefully unfair suspicion being cast on innocent members with the resulting speculation caused by not giving the name.

Exactly....Meghans comment being an serious accusation.

If you are a figurehead for an institution and someone approached you for help within that institution you would know who to approach to get that help...

Dan Wootton's Open Letter to Prince William

History will show the problem was with Meghan, not you. She
has fallen out with most of her close relatives – including her
father and half-sister – and no old friends were on the guest list
for her wedding.

Her friends are in showbiz now. They're ready to exploit her for
their own gains, be it by securing TV interviews or advancing
divisive identity politics.

By contrast, you are going to be king. Your priority is to keep
the monarchy popular, not give in to your brother's petulant
tantrums and delusions.

Bowing down to Harry and Meghan is no longer the right thing
to do and that's why you were correct to publicly state at the
first available opportunity that 'we're very much not a racist
family'.

Many old friends of Harry I have spoken to are convinced he will
come back to you and Great Britain, but it's going to take him
some time to work out the mistakes he's made and how he's let
you down.

Until that time, there is nothing more you can do. Harry knows
you love him and that you'll do anything for him if he's in
serious trouble.

It's painful. But the time has come to stop appeasing your
brother. He'll soon learn millions of dollars and a Californian
mansion don't compare to the unconditional and unwavering
love of your blood relatives.
