However Son was superb all through in that game.

Son is a joy to watch - its great to see a player play with a smile on his face and he never cheats he just gets on with the game

Yes I agree with all that.
I've always liked Son.

Fair enough, I understand now.

Just last year, I found out Everton and Liverpool are from the same city.

Tbf if you're not from the country it's gonna be hard to tell imo. I probably should've clarified the Blues and Villa rivalry awhile back for people that aren't from the UK so apologies about that.

Tbf with Everton & Liverpool, they're more friends than rivals, I tend to find that they both hate Man Utd more than they hate each other.:joker:

The top 5 nasty rivalries id say are

Rangers Celtic
West Ham Millwall
Leeds Chelsea
Portsmouth Southampton
Liverpool vs Manchester United

Adding to this, that West Ham is a team from London.

Arsenal Man U was quite a nasty rivalry for a few years. Didn't Alex Ferguson get in a physical fight with them at one time?

Calderyon 16-08-2021 09:30 PM

Now Arsenal only seems to have a rivalry with themselves.

Not a bad list tbf.

The only one that I didn't know about was Leeds & Chelsea, is that a really severe rivalry?

That's definitely true.

I personally don't mind them though, I kinda respect them as a club.

Search out Leeds v Chelsea FA Cup Final from 1970 on YouTube ..

They got some current refs to re-officiate the game and concluded that 19 players would have been red carded ( including both keepers ) !!

Jesus Christ!

That is definitely something that I'll search up later, 19 players being red carded would be an epic match to watch if it really happened.

It ended on a draw so they had a replayed blood bath on a muddy pitch days later .. as I recall .

I would love to see both games again if anyone finds a good quality link !!

And to go to my Grealish bashing (as I can't resist) his played two games now for Man City and it's been 0 assists, 0 goals & 2 defeats in all competitions, sure the team will be in the top 2 by the end of the season, but Sky Sports obsession with him being a mix of Cristiano Ronaldo/Messi/Harry Kane/Mbappe/David Beckham/Wayne Rooney/De Bruyne/Lewandowski/Lukaku/Glenn Hoddle/Paul Scholes/& Paul Gascoigne/Trevor Francis isn't coming to pass (which in fairness is impossible)

I swear Sky Sports blatant bias towards Grealish is driving me up the wall, I honestly would just quietly think that he was a little bit overrated but not say anything on here about it (like I've done with loads of other players in the past) if Sky Sports weren't having an orgasm every time that he just touches the ball, it's deeply irritating and surely I can't be the only one that finds it annoying?

Oh how did I forget he is also like Eden Hazard!

I’ll bookmark this post for later on on the season ;)

Honestly I don't begrudge him his move in the sense of Man City are a big club that's winning ****. Plus it weakens the Vile.:hehe:

Tbh it's the Media that does me with him, even at the Euros we were getting ITV talking about how every woman wants to be "Mrs. Grealish" or the fact that he had a great Euros when all he did in the entire tournament was dive and pass the ball to Harry Kane once.

I can't believe I'm saying this but if Grealish plays against Villa and isn't injured or suspended, I think that I'd actually root for Villa to win just to shut the Media up about how much weaker they are without Saint Grealish.

Villa may be even better without Grealish as they’ve spent the money plus more very wisely .. they now have two real goal threats apart from anything else .

That said once Grealish settles in and gets into the groove with KDB they will be unplayable..
