Yes that's all true Mock.
Good points.

people are under the impression that its all down to Trump. This is wrong. 200 republican members of the house didnt just start flouting democracy because of Trump. They did it because being in power is more important than anything else. It's the majority of the party. They don't have any policies, they only criticise everyone else. If Trump were to be kidnapped by aliens tomorrow, there are 200 members of congress with exactly the same views that could take over tomorrow.

Does that remind you of any other country?

It's a fair point.

I do feel like those 200 will feel less emboldened now that their viewpoint has been rejected yet again though.

It's actually a possibility for them if they learn to respect democracy, plus back away from Trump who is giving them an horrendous image to middle ground voters in America.

they have just been elected though, so they will be feeling very emboldened

It's true that high profile result deniers didn't get elected but an awful lot did, including a qanon supporter

To provide a bit of further context, the media and the dems are publicising the results in swing elections where the results were in doubt and saying democracy won, but most seats are safe and the incumbent gets re-elected easily. Those are the majority and those are also where the majority are happy to dispense with democracy and deny election results

How is Trump giving them an horrendous image?

There's never been a more popular candidate with the people in my lifetime.

Just look at his rallies. Just look at what his war mongering, establishment opposition would go to to stop him.

Biden was more popular, he got more votes than Trump

Yeah, you could tell by his packed to the rafters rallies and the "Let's go Brandon" chants at stadiums.

Don't you have any comment on the 10 minutes of Democrats denying election results video I posted?

bots 14-11-2022 12:10 PM

keep denying it Alf, but Biden was more popular than Trump as the votes showed

Not just more popular than Trump. But easily more popular than any candidate ever.

Trumps numbers made him one of the most popular ever too.

With Biden's numbers then he's nailed on to win again.

I think future candidates should take a leaf out of Joe's campaigning book and spend that campaigning time in the basement and not on the road. It was certainly the greatest tactic ever.

From the man that brought us

Trump is still president and the army will arrest Biden in inauguration day.

I've been waiting for you to ask, you're slowing in your old age.

I was referring to Alf, obviously, but it's congress that has been funding Ukraine, not Biden.

FTX isn't funded by Ukraine, either, but apart from that...
