King Charles III
now LIVE

joeysteele 10-09-2022 09:26 AM

Fascinating.

I thank Her Majesty the late Queen for all her dedicated service.

I now welcome the new Monarch His Majesty King Charles 111.
Who for this role of Monarch has been trained for decades by his Mother Queen Elizabeth 11.

I think he will be a really good King, I think many are going to be likely disappointed who think, and maybe hope he will not be.

He is the long reign and decades link to his Mother the late Queen.
Plus he is now preparing HIS son, the new Prince of Wales for the Monarchy too.

Those 2 things will, I think and hope hold the affection of the Nation towards him

Yes, he understands Green Industry.

But not on a weekday if the funeral is a Saturday... I wanted a day off work.

Utter pomp. Unbelievable that in [current year] we're still doing all this frivolous faff.

Yes USA TV loves it

Good for a Film with Fights

Bless her. Good old age.

Feels very strange having known no different. I'm not a royalist, but still.

Very sombre atmosphere. All radio stations playing sentimental and sad songs.

RIP.

Going to take a while to get use to. I can't see Charles having the same presence on the initial stage

Dogeatdog 10-09-2022 10:10 AM

I don’t really have much interest in the Royals but watching this I do find it a bit fascinating in a way. I’ve never seen the royal guards with their hats off before.

Cherie 10-09-2022 10:14 AM

Love all the pomp and ceremony and the old language used
