hhhmmm I'm trying to remember them, i suppose the ones that limit your pool of choice can be hard if you have certain dances, like if it's limited to a certain artist or two/Post modern jukebox can be great but very difficult for some dances/or if it's limited to a certain genre of music

Niamh. 09-11-2022 09:44 AM

The number/colour theme last year as well was tough

The Slim Reaper 09-11-2022 09:59 AM

Thanks Niamh.

Anyone else have comments on most difficult rounds?

Liam- 09-11-2022 10:12 AM

Like Niamh said the super specific ones are the hardest, I wanted to quit when we had a U2 week it was awful, but also themes that can be left often to interpretation by the judges suck too

I think if you win the round, then you should know your dance before you choose a theme. There are a couple of themes I would love to pick, but have a feeling I'd get the dance that screwed me the most out of everyone

I'm going for a Beatles round.

Solo projects are included, but not appearances on other artists work.

That would be unfair, level playing field :nono:

Just go for it, no one is leaving anyway

I really wanted to go with a Clancys and tommy Mackem round, but I felt this was an easier. Folks should be grateful :idc:

So Beatles and any of their solo works?

Niamh. 09-11-2022 10:47 AM

Does solo works include other bands they were in?

Corretta mi amore

The Beatles were my mother favourite band. I remember I took her to Liverpool to see their museum.

Depends. If it's their work, yes. If George Harrison (example) appears on a rolling stones record, then no.

Wings was McCartneys band, as was the plastic Ono band for Lennon. As long as it's them, and not features/appearances, then yes.

What if it's a duet with another artist? Or a performance with other artists?
