Yes the Sun and Help the Heroes raised millions, Harry's short memory again.
He's upset a lot of people . |
That is the most crazy statement I have heard from him the red tops always back the army and poppy day and British Legion .... not sure where he has been, his statements often do not hold up to the most superficial of fact checking
|
He's likely referring to the quite universally well understood fact (by anyone who has half an eye on politics) that the reporting and rhetoric from the government and media about the army and especially war bears little to no resemblance to the reality of war and warzones whatsoever.
But I will say, to be fair, that this is not a British Press problem: it's global, and not new. As in VERY not new. The denizens of Rome had rose tinted glasses about what the Roman Legions were up to out in the world, way back before baby Jebus. |
i think he is probably comparing the uk, to the usa, where they have all sorts of ad campaigns for veterans. The problem in the usa of course, is that they don't have any normal social services that look after veterans which is why they need special treatment in america

The deaths and injuries of British soldiers were covered extensively by the press. 79 British Journalists have been killed and many more wounded covering events in Afghanistan since 1992. He also whines about the UK media leaking his tour of duty and forcing him to return home. Another lie. They religiously kept his tour secret. His cover was blown by a US website in a ‘World Exclusive’ and in an Australian magazine. I can only surmise all this is for American audiences, to ram home the idea of how awful the British press is. The Invictus games are the very best of Harry, why does he have to spoil it by telling such obvious untruths? Despicable. |

He said his brother urged him to get help
It all goes back to the death of his mother after returning from Afghanistan |

As Harry and Meghan launch new documentary Heart of Invictus, it seems once again the Duke's litany of complaints aren't quite adding up CLAIM: There was no 'support' and 'no one could help' when Harry was suffering post-traumatic stress. He said: 'I didn't have that support structure, that network or that expert advice to identify what was actually going on with me.' REALITY: In 2017, Harry revealed in an interview how his brother had helped him. He told the Telegraph's Bryony Gordon in her podcast, Mad World, that Prince William had encouraged him to get therapy. Harry said: 'For me personally, my brother… bless him, he was a huge support to me. He kept saying this is not right, this is not normal, you need to talk to [someone] about stuff, it's OK.' Daily Mail ……………. Not to mention that Harry would have had the best of Harley St psychiatrists available to him. All he had to do was ask. Many soldiers were coming back to unemployment and poverty, not Palaces and therapists on speed dial. |
So am I right in saying this Netflix Documentary has been made for Harry to tell the world about his Invictus Games...focusing on how it has helped our ex Servicemen who have returned from conflict and are no longer able-bodied....and he has used it to lay blame on the British Press and made it all about him
Just like the Documentary he and Meghan made in Africa.... |

Oh, you lost your legs, I can relate, did you know I lost my mother when I was 12? It’s just ridiculous now. |

I’m certainly not alone. The thousands of comments on the official Netflix trailer for the latest upcoming games next month are scathing, almost without exception. The public want him to step down from any association with the games. |

So moronic to have a reaction like that to something you haven’t even seen. If you guys expect to be taken seriously then come on ffs LMAO
I just happened to see the trailer on Netflix and it’s mostly servicemen and women featured. I can almost guarantee that anyone on here, men or women (though embarrassingly, it’s the men), that pulls Harry apart on the regular have not been anywhere near a battlefield, unlike him of course. By all means I’d be interested to know how many tours of Afghan they've done. This small dick energy you both give off is embarrassing |
Sorry, not small dick energy. Gossipy old women energy. You’d both get on with my nan like a house on fire

It’s such a shame that you are still unable to state any facts and contribute to any debate about Harry and Meghan without getting personal…because when you resort to getting personal and responding with numerous joker emojis you clearly have nothing to offer…:smug: |

Clearly your Nan appreciates good company….:hee: |
