Any of you lads who are trying to argue that grabbing someone by the head and kissing them on the lips without their consent "isn't sexual assault" ... well.

I'm not even going to say anything actually . It is assault. Deal with it.

i considered it sexual assault when my old auntie tried to kiss me on the cheek, let alone on the lips

Very good LT. If these two are team mates who know each other and this is a normal thing that both are OK with then there's no problem.

If the lighter hair guy says "I didn't want him to do that to me" then yes. He was assaulted. Not sure if you're trying to make some contrast/comparison here. It's not assault if there's consent. It is assault if there's not. "How To Not Sexually Assault People For Dummies".

If anyone does it to anyone.

Generally speaking, there is less implied threat when a woman does it to a man, however it doesn't have to cause massive upset or fear to be an assault. Again the key thing here is consent. And no I'm not saying "verbal consent always required!" - it's somewhat different if people are family/good friends and know each other well.

I don't believe for a second that's the case here with this. If anything, their relationship is closer to boss/employee which automatically means there's a power differential that makes it inappropriate.

user104658 29-08-2023 12:07 PM

Are you going for the Prince Andrew "Other people have done noncey stuff too!" defense here LT? Why are you posting these pictures like it demonstrates anything?

bots 29-08-2023 12:10 PM

the guy is a sleaze bag. It's obvious to everyone with a brain

Sticks 29-08-2023 12:14 PM

Anyway

I fail to see what the Spanish government have to do with anything. It happened in Australia out of Spanish Jurisdiction and I don't hear anything about the Australian authorities being bothered.

Luis Rubiales should stand his ground, when he is not being held in the air by a certain female soccer player.

He probably jumped on to her :hehe:

seriously though he was probably totes embarrassed at being lifted off the ground by a woman so decided to assert his male dominance

Crimson Dynamo 29-08-2023 12:21 PM

No idea what the tweet says but just to address the issue that pic of him being lifted was fake

user104658 29-08-2023 12:30 PM

I can't quite believe I have to point this out but...

....no, "lifting someone off the ground" is not sexual assault?

FFS :umm2: worrying that some of you aren't in cages to be honest.

I recommend you don't go out and test that theory Nicky.

also kissing one of their most powerhouse players on the lips, many many years of having played for that team, a very important player to that team and also to Barca

Hermoso, same as Putellas two of their strongest of the squad

and boo hoo if Mr Rubiales is very passionate about the team, to the extent he wants to kiss several of the players, when they became world champions for the first time, a big deal for spain with the women's football, and a big morale boost in general for their football, after their men's team has been kinda underachieving lately

there are worse things than a kiss

did Overmars got banned for life from the sport, umm NOPE

and he did worse, showing dickpics to many women who also worked with Ajax, on social media, in their private messages :idc: they weren't minors ok, but still showing your dick can cause traumas regardless whatever your age is

currently won the title last season in Belgium, with Royal Antwerp, with fellow dutchman Mark van Bommel

Hot take Nicky:

Sexual assault is more important than football. Which isn't actually important at all.

can you imagine how it would have gone down if prince william had grabbed his crotch while celebrating an england womens win :joker:

Crimson Dynamo 29-08-2023 01:33 PM

I bet if David Beckham did it to the women's team no one would kick off about it
