It's a mistake to have it on tv2. In my opinion it would do so much better on itv1.
Notice how it lost viewers since it switched channel.

craigie2023 14-10-2023 03:21 PM

I'm sorry to see the ratings dip to this, it's possibly one of the best series in years! I'm sorry to say this, but if ITV do not get a grip of this, then this will possibly be the last ever revival we will ever see of BB.

DigitalSid 14-10-2023 06:38 PM

It will be interesting to see how it does once ITVX is factored in but I've noticed they're pushing it less on there than they were.

Low ratings on a Friday in an era where people prefer to watch TV in their own time isnt surprising

Black Dagger 14-10-2023 09:21 PM

If the consolidated ratings don’t add that much I’ll be concerned but if the series can average over 1m I think ITV will be happy.

When can we expect officials to come through?

daniel-lewis-1985 16-10-2023 01:56 PM

Apparently last night got 820k again.

I think it's alright. There are a lot watching the series online. So it probably adds up to around a million?

That's good for a Sunday night I think, competing with a big rugby match as well

Luke_Patton_ 17-10-2023 08:30 AM

That's amazing news! Hopefully these 800K-1.0 million overnights will convert into 1.5 million officially.

At its peak, I think the highest C5 launch was BB13 with 3.02 million. So ITV should be happy with 3.6 million.

daniel-lewis-1985 17-10-2023 09:06 AM

Official ratings for the launch are in. Including itvx launch was watched by 3.7 million viewers. That’s an increase of 1.2 million and the highest launch of civilian BB since BB11. The officials for the week will be released next Monday.

Yes, I knew the online viewers would boost it. That's really good.

MAFS doing annoyingly well. When does that finish?

Black Dagger 17-10-2023 01:09 PM

It’s their longest run yet. 36 episodes and we are only on episode 16 I think so will probably finish after Big Brother.

Stu 17-10-2023 01:31 PM

Ratings remaining steady and even increasing slightly a week in once people know the format and what they are going for can only be a good thing. There could have been a massive amount of "To hell with this, there's no influencers and it's all gone woke" or "Now that I've seen it's still just Big Brother I'm off" type switch-offs but it doesn't really look like that's been the case. It's handy because they've really actually nailed the casting for the most part and I'd dearly like them to stick to these guns for future series.

Black Dagger 18-10-2023 01:07 PM

804k last night and it was up against MAFS and the football so good retention from the previous night tbf. It is really all about these consolidation figures

daniel-lewis-1985 18-10-2023 04:05 PM

The thing is unless it’s consolidating 2.6 million I don’t think we’re going to get any official figures. Love island rarely got released last series because it didn’t make the top ten shows, the ratings for their last series aren’t even available on their wiki page. Annoying because i really want to see how it’s rated and if it beat love island.

daniel-lewis-1985 19-10-2023 10:29 AM

Ratings climbed quite a bit last night to 950k.

We should get figures through Thinkbox. Unlike BARB they don't give figures for different devices. Still, it should still give us something.

Good figure for last night given the RTV competition at 9.

daniel-lewis-1985 20-10-2023 11:55 AM

Ratings! Last night's @bbuk had 942,000 (7,3%) at 9pm on ITV2.
