Merry Christmas Tibb!! 🎄❄️☃️🎁

I hope everyone here has a lovely Christmas (and for Livia a Happy Hanukkah) and a happy new year.

This year has had its ups and downs like every year really but it got really bad towards the end of this year. Our family dog Leo had to be put down at the beginning of November and it’s left a bit of a void in our house. He was 13 years old and had problems with his heart. He had been on medication for 2 years and we was told by the vets back then that he would be lucky to live for 1 year. So the fact that he lived for 2 years showed how much of a fighter he really was, but we are really missing him :love:.

Hopefully next year will be more positive not just for me but for everyone here too.

aw DeD I feel your pain we lost our boy in April, he was 16 and he has left a westie shaped hole in our life, its very difficult losing a pet especially when they have been in our lives for a long time. Thinking of you and Merry Christmas xxxx

Oh my lord .. our beautiful little dawg was 16 when he passed yesterday .. it’s left such a void .. I wasn’t going to mention it in this thread as it’s a Christmas themed one so I discussed it in the What Are You Listening To Now thread

It’s so difficult to come to terms with .. I keep getting graphic flashbacks and it’s very upsetting .. I think that only dog lovers can comprehend how much they mean to us all ..

…it’s good and appropriate that you did say it here also and that Cherie has with her loss this year because losing the people we love and animal family members also, is all a part of everyone’s Christmas …the celebration times are often bittersweet….
