I personally don't like children being brought into a group where violence could definitely break out.

But obviously children shouldn't be being taught to hate non-criminal communities either imo.

We know what the extreme right wing positions are. Can you tell me what the extreme left wing positions are, please?

The extreme left are the main culprits behind all of the cancel culture stuff imo.

And the extreme right tend to be the more violent, especially if they can't get their own way on something.

@The Slim Reaper

What extreme cancel culture stuff? Who has been properly cancelled by the left, so that they've had to disappear from public life?

Do you think cancel culture is just of the left, or do you ever see any rw cancel culture stuff?

I've seen the far right tbf make a couple of attempts at cancel culture.

1. Gary Lineker
And 2. Philip Schofield
3. Jeremy Corbyn

However I've seen the far left go for (love these people/franchises or not.)

1. Elon Musk
2. JK Rowling (including Hogwarts Legacy fgs, which wasn't even made by her.)
3. Donald Trump
4. Stellar Blade
5. Final Fantasy XVI
6. McDonald's
7. Starbucks
8. A bunch of YouTubers just for having a different opinion to them

Obviously this is the far right and far left, not what I would call the moderates on either side, that I just want to make clear.

@The Slim Reaper

If people cry that they're being cancelled, but maintain the exact same status as before, then they haven't been cancelled.

Cancelling corporations doesn't count. The right has a whole saying called "go woke, go broke" based on cancelling any business that appears the least bit progressive. Bud light ring any bells?

In short, I think cc does exist on a very small scale on both the left and right, and anyone crying about being cancelled is using it to boost their personal platforms, especially as most people seem to moan about being cancelled in newspapers, on TV, or to their millions of followers, which sort of downplays their own arguments.

How did I forget Bud Light? I agree with you on that one being another effort, and a ridiculous one at it.:laugh:

Ultimately I think that cancel culture is worse for the regular joe person, because if say for example, I went for a job (me going for a job I know) but say I were to go for a job, and then my potential employers saw some of my posts on here or on Twitter, or YouTube, they could take a funny over me having a controversial opinion on a topic, even if I were the ideal candidate in every other way.

That to me is a problem that does exist imo.
