Cruel ending

That penalty mistake is unforgivable

I will be honest..

The embarrassment of getting through with 2 points would have been too much for me..it was always a win or nothing..I never expected the win

Hope Varga is ok for next round dont want to waste a transfer in fantasy.

Well fair play to the Scots you gave us some drama, much more entertaining than the England team

MTVN 23-06-2024 09:15 PM

Wasn't a penalty though

That challenge would have had foden out for weeks with a sore thigh.

MTVN 23-06-2024 09:21 PM

Baffled that all the coverage of the penalty decision doesn't mention that Armstrong had a fistful of the defender's shirt?

James 23-06-2024 09:21 PM

Yeah, I didn't think it was a penalty.

What's a shirt got to do with a defender giving an attacker a dead leg cause he lost his man.

Tbf, watching paint dry is more entertaining than watching England.:joker:

Tbh as someone that likes to see UK/Republic Of Ireland do well (I'm a weirdo I know lol,) I get frustrated to see in this case Scotland making the most basic mistakes imaginable.

I have felt like in all three games that Scotland could've avoided their fate with more awareness from the players.

He was committing a foul at the same time two legs made slight contact in a physical battle

Armstrong ****ed it

We were gutless in all 3 games until we needed not to be.

Absolutely pathetic management .fair enough he got us there, but he fist pumped a draw with Switzerland after being one nil up..

We have never had a better chance since 1978 of qualifying..(not taking into consideration, gazza and his alky pals laying down to whomever in 1996 to deny us on goal difference)

We should have been a team to fear, but Clarke shat it from the off and that seemed to filter down from him onto his players.

Shame..

Hungary striker Barnabas Varga is "stable" in hospital after being carried off on a stretcher following a mid-air clash with Scotland goalkeeper Angus Gunn in Sunday night's Euro 2024 match.

The match was held up for nearly seven minutes as Varga received lengthy treatment on the pitch.

"The Hungarian national team player is currently in one of the hospitals in Stuttgart," the Hungarian Football Federation wrote in a post on X, external.

"We will inform you immediately if there is any news on his status."

It's a good campaign when Scotland reaches the finals. They are not in the top 16 teams in europe, so it's unlikely they will ever get past the group stages until the standard of scottish players improves

I dont want to be a stereotype or anything..But I reckon the Scotland top I bought just before the euros started should still be in the 14 day return guarantee.
