Tasks will be key. They need to be brilliant.
The pirate task looks promising.

Deflection speaks for itself

Yeah he deserved it.

I'm mixed on it tbh.

On one hand we've lost the biggest character of the series at the early stages of the Show.

On the other hand I do think that Mickey was so larger than life in the house, that we weren't really getting to see much of anyone in dynamics away from Mickey.

Now the Show has the opportunity to finally let us have more informed opinions on everyone else.

I take it all back.

Let the Mickey Show return.:joker:

Maybe in the future we can have two versions of the show, one for people who demonstrate how woke and inclusive they are by insulting and excluding others while melting into tears if someone speaks harshly to them, and one for the grown ups with a sense of humour.

You didn't miss much tonight.

Some of these Housemates are just too weird, even for me.

Trish - Stories/Bragging - As soon as Mandela got out he kissed my baby.
JoJo - Does bring energy to the house
Chris - JoJo's mate
Ella - Who?
Angelica - Nice enough, but not much of a HM, fence sitter
Jack ^
Patsy ^
Daley - Doesn't seem that arsed by any of it, just coasting though for a payday, but nice enough bloke.
Danny - Fun, witting, but again, doesn't add a great deal really
Donna - Almost forgot about her

As good as it looked on paper before it started, man has it been bland. And to think, if this doesn't do that well there are no guarantees ITV will continue producing BB. Mickey leaving, for whatever reason, has harmed the show for sure.

The house needs another set of Sarah's, Marcello's, Emma's, and Nathan's to enter the house.

They were Housemates from the last civilian series that weren't afraid to say stuff.

Reckon he will? Or will he fly home and not even come back to the final?

arista 14-04-2025 07:32 AM

Really gutted for him and the viewers. On a night when people were being called, backwards, fcuckers and bitches, he gets evicted for a dirty joke made towards Ellie. Ellie the woman who thinks dirty jokes are flirting when it's her making them in her entrance video. A woman who used this as an excuse to shed the upset tears Chris and Jojo friendship had been causing her internally..

Ejected for standing up to Chris and his provocation, like men should do.

Ejected for all the complaining simpering wet wipes who seem to watch this show these days, just so they can complain.

Real men don't lose their temper and throw tantrums. Funny thing is - I think even Mickey knows that, he immediately regretted losing his temper, his conversation with Jojo immediately afterwards showed that he was disappointed in himself (as he should have been).

For what it's worth, I don't think Chris responded well either, he was initially joking but he should have defused it when Mickey got in his face, he responded a bit aggressively too. Mickey's an old man.

Which is also the reason his "jokes" with Ella are gross. Not a kicking out offense on its own but he should definitely have had a warning for that.

The lack of self control is why he had to go though. I reckon he was one comment away from throwing hands. Too much of a risk for them really, and for the people living there, if he can't hold his temper.

At one point Mickey did square up to Chris and given that he was a boxer, he could have conceivably killed Chris with 1 punch, so I can see the risk in that situation. What got me was that he wasn't ejected for that, it was for making a slightly fruity comment to Ellie

I don't think he was ejected for that comment. I think the producers and lawyers were probably all scurrying round trying to decide what to do with him which is why he wasn't ejected straight after the Chris incident

He was a boxer decades ago, Chris is a prettyboy and yes only "glamour muscled" but he's 6ft, a decent weight and he's 32. Mickey is in his 70's and bordering on frail.

Men in their 70's don't get into fight with 30 year olds and come out of it well bots this is pure fantasy. I've seen what happens when older chaps who were a bit 'ard in their day think they're still intimidating and can still handle themselves. It's a mess. Have literally seen a 16 year old kid jump off his BMX and knock the sh*t out of a "local hard man" (in his late 60's) who was having a go.

Tl;dr I think if Mickey Rourke was to get into a real fight with pretty much any adult man under age 55 he'd not only lose but his health would be at serious risk.

Jessica. 14-04-2025 11:34 AM

I can't wait for tonight's episode where the whole hour will be free of that angry man

I have got nobody like that in my life, that's not everyone's reality.

Not in your real world life anyway, there's a few "Mickey Rourkes" kicking about on TiBB that's for certain .

Ten a penny in any small town pub or bookies as well. Thankfully I only encounter the online ones these days.

I'd count someone on the forum being in my life as much as someone on the TV in fairness, it's fleeting 😅
