Wrong. Yes, the bottles can be reused but some people have to keep on buying bottled water anyway. If you do that then recycling is the best option.

All my bottle, plastic, cardboard, glass etc goes into a green bin in our garden.

Ignorant people buy bottled water (BB's Nikki) tap water is just fine

Of course you can recycle after you have finished with the bottle, as chewy said.

Right, this far into the argument there is something I haven't said yet because it looks like I am very pro-litter.

I'm actually against it and I don't like doing it. Where I can, I will keep hold of something until a bin but there are times when I can't e.g. the hands full scenario or something which happened to me about a fortnight ago which is walking for half an hour with an empty, freezing McDonalds milkshake carton in sub zero temperatures.

I don't think people should be encouraged to litter. People should just bin things. Its actually more convenient than just dropping it, and not just for yourself. But I think in some instances it is OK, especially if there are a lot of street cleaners about like there are here.

Recycle, yes. Reuse, probably not. We buy about 5 or 6 2 litre bottles in a week. We aren't going to keep all of those bottles and use them all again.
