Someone on DS has posted that it starts on Halloween, he's been reliable for BB spoilers in the past so it could be true; others have said it starts the 27th October and runs for 5 consecutive nights, then the DVD is released on the 3rd of November.

on the deadset website there is prize for premaires most the country on 21st then london on 26th oct so halloween could be a good bet

Is this just a one off? Because it doesn't seem like it is on for that long, maybe they should of made it into a film, like another 28 Days Later type of thing.

I doubt they'd bother releasing a DVD for such a low budget cable show.

pinkmichk 10-10-2008 10:06 AM

it says about the dvd on the deadset website as well

karezza 10-10-2008 10:35 AM

E4 to drop branding for zombie drama

E4 is to drop its on-screen logo for the duration of upcoming Big Brother zombie thriller Dead Set.

Endemol-owned indie Zeppotron requested to screen the drama without E4's branding to avoid confusing viewers as the action switches between scripted scenes in the Big Brother house and the horror erupting in the world outside.

Unusually, the series will also air without end credits until the final episode. At the end of parts one to four, viewers will be directed to a dedicated website for the full cast and crew listings, a tactic previously employed by C4 for Chris Morris' sketch series Jam in 2000.

"Dead Set has high production values and with the amount of prosthetics, special effects and stunt crews, it has longer credits than the average TV show," a spokeswoman said. "Parts two to five are half an hour long and the credits would have taken up too much time. The full cast and crew will be credited at the end of episode five."

Dead Set is E4's biggest-budget commission to date and was devised and written by Guardian columnist and Nathan Barley co-creator Charlie Brooker, who is creative director of Zeppotron.

this has probably already been said, but davina is wearing the same clothes and same hair style as she did for Belinda's eviction.

they filmed 'pippas' eviction on that night so they could use a real crowd etc

Mrluvaluva 15-10-2008 11:48 AM

It looks a bit like 28 days later meets Shaun of the dead.

Locke. 15-10-2008 12:12 PM

"They're all dead... Does that mean we aren't on tele anymore?"

XxShortyxX 15-10-2008 01:02 PM

This starts the 27th October by the way, it will run till the 31st. Jamie Winstone stars in it, she was on Paul O'Grady last night and spoke about it. She said there is blood amd guts all the way through it, and it has some of the real BB HM's in it as well.
