There is so much great stuff out there
with Sky ,Ch4, ITV1 , BBC, Dave, Ch5
and the BBC will improve Quality after these stations close
so it is a good move forward.

but it appears as they are bankrupt - they soon will be under the BBC control

that another Strike Vote is being taken by the NUJ ,

We can get by without BBC News

I don't watch the BBC or have to buy a licence so I couldnt care less if they scrapped it altogether.

Outdated institution thats needs a radical overhaul. Outrageous forcing people to still buy a licence when there's about 178 other TV channels and tons of radio stations to choose!

There was no new Kermode/Mayo film show today, only a repeat, which was a bit of a disappointment.

Yes that is a big loss on Radio5 afternoon 2PM slot,
