Not only is their on screen son Daniel now in Neighbours, but in todays (July 11th) Australian episode Scott & Charlene's old school time nemesis Sue Parker made an appearance, which lead to more conversation about Scott & Charlene :D

Sue Parker with Charlene back in the day

She is played by the same actress too Kate Gorman :D

I wish Kylie and Jason was returning to Neighbours. I read Kylie denies Neighbours return :bawling:

It's a shame they couldn't return even if just for one episode :(

Would of been great if Kylie and Jason and some others like Kate Gorman could return in the same episode.

I wonder if they would return one day? :)

Former Neighbours star returns for zombie webisode series

Quote:

Former Neighbours star Dan Paris will make a return in the show's latest zombie webisode series.

Long-term fans will know that Paris played Libby Kennedy's husband Drew Kirk, before he was killed in a horse riding accident in 2002.

Paris previously returned for the show's 20th anniversary in 2005 as part of a dream sequence, and viewers recently heard references to Drew when Libby and their son Ben returned to Ramsay Street for a brief visit.

The latest webisode series, named Neighbours: Zombies on Ramsay Street, will be launching in time for Halloween and sees the return of number of characters who all met unfortunate endings over the years.

Funded by Screen Australia's Skip Ahead scheme, the series will feature behind-the-scenes updates with local YouTube content creator Louna Maroun, who also has a starring role.

Speaking about taking part in the web series, Paris said: "This was just too much fun to pass up and it was great to see Alan and Jackie again. It was as if no time had passed - not unlike how a zombie feels I guess."

Neighbours: Zombies on Ramsay Street will be available via the Neighbours channel on YouTube from October 27.

Neighbours announces more characters featuring in zombie series

Quote:

Neighbours has announced more characters returning for the show's zombie webisode series.

The Neighbours official website has announced that Ben Nicholas, who played Scott 'Stingray' Timmons and Kevin Harrington, who played David Bishop will feature in the online series titled Neighbours VS Zombies.

Recently departed Taylor Glockner, who played Mason Turner and Aaron Jakubenko, who played villain Robbo Slade will also make an appearance. The storyline will see Mason team up with Hope Gottlieb, now played by Louna Maroun, to try to stop the zombie invasion. Hope was previously on-screen as a baby in 1993.

The returnees will all join Dan Paris, who was the first name to be announced for the series last month. Paris played Libby Kennedy's husband Drew Kirk who lost his life as a result of a horse-riding accident back in 2002.

Neighbours VS Zombies is funded by Screen Australia's Skip Ahead Scheme, and is produced by Ric Forster and Alicia Hamilton. It will be launched in time for Halloween

They're brilliant episodes and hope they make more episodes with more characters. :cheer2:

Dee, Libby, Steph, Madge, Harold, Cody, Pam and Doug, Bridget, Declan, Ringo, Donna, Cheryl and the Timmins family should of returned for those episodes too.

None of the Timmins family should have been written out of the show :bawling:

Neighbours star thanks Eddie Redmayne in new video message

Quote:

Neighbours star Jackie Woodburne has thanked Oscars winner Eddie Redmayne in a new video message.

Redmayne, who won the Best Actor Academy Award for his role as Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything, yesterday paid tribute to both Woodburne and her on-screen husband Alan Fletcher.

Responding to the tribute, Woodburne thanked Redmayne in a special video message where she also praised him for his own talent.

She said: "Congratulations Eddie on all the accolades on your beautiful performance, and thank you so much for the mention.

"It means more than I can tell you to all of us at Neighbours, not just myself and Alan. Thank you and good luck with everything you do in the future. Congratulations again."

Fletcher, who plays Karl Kennedy, also thanked Redmayne, saying: "To receive such generous praise from an actor of Eddie Redmayne's startling ability and status has been thrilling for both of us."

Eddie Redmayne praises Neighbours duo following Oscars win

Quote:

Eddie Redmayne has praised Neighbours stars Alan Fletcher and Jackie Woodburne following his Oscars win.

Redmayne won the Best Actor Academy Award for his role as Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything, but has insisted that he learned skills from watching the Neighbours duo daily.
Quote:

Redmayne said: "I think they're amazing. I'm a huge fan of them from old. I've learnt a lot from them from watching them daily."

Redmayne has previously praised the stars of the Australian soap, who play long-standing characters Karl and Susan Kennedy
Quote:

he reiterated: "They are the greatest unsung acting duo in history. Watch, and you'll find that everything they do is on another level of genius. I really do think so."

He added: "[If I met them] that would be complete stage fright. I've met quite a few extraordinary actors, but either Susan or Karl? Well, I don't think I'd be able to talk
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/movies/s...p5IrzmqC1YyCUj

Karl and Susan are the best characters on Neighbours and if they left I don't think I would watch Neighbours anymore.

I agree, I think if they was to bring back Billy it would probably be a recast? :(

I Wish Sky, Lucas, Vanessa and Janelle was returning to Neighbours for longer but it's good that they are coming back to Neighbours even if it's just as guests.

I hope Dylan and Bree return too and it would be good if Janee returned as well and also Libby and many past characters. :)
