It's kind of sweet watching people who should never and will never be mod naively put themselves foward.

I entertained the idea once but it'd be so weird. I'd rather be an ordinary, lowly member than one who has to hold himself responsible for ****.

Its actually quite horrible at times. I often really really want to just tell people to shut the **** up, but cant do that :laugh:

Who were the new mods last time we had some? I can only remember Iceman.

Iceman, Niamh and Josy I believe. I was travelling when they were appointed, but I think it was those 3.

Oh, so we had 5 new mods appointed last time last year? I was away so I don't remember it. I know me, Marc and Vicky were all appointed at the same time 2 years ago.

If you mod more people will you demod some who are never active at all? Like it's not good if they don't know the flow of the forum and don't get the banter then ban someone on their first day back or something

Yes, Me, Josy, Nate, Iceman and Dezzy were all appointed at the same time. At the time Vicky was pretty much the only active mod!

What's to get? Vicky was made a mod before us in 2009, we were made mods in 2010

Out of nothing but sheer nosiness.... are mods allocated 'patterns' etc - I've never really noticed who is on when tbh. If it's one of those ''can't really say too much'' answers, that's cool !! :)

Yeah, she definitely had her hands full! oh Zee was around too (apologies Greg!) but yeah alot of mods became inactive so I think that's why they made so many of us..........then Marc and Ben came back :joker: though it works well I think, there's usually one or two of us atleast online at a time

I was appointed as a mod in early 2010 with Darenn and Princess - Princess stepped down after a while and Darenn disappeared off the forum not long after he was made mod... 30stone, Red Moon, SiaSiaSia and other mods gradually disappeared as well - there really weren't many moderators around, hence promoting 5 when we last did a mod shuffle. Which is also why it annoys me when people accuse me of doing nothing :laugh:

I'm seriously welling up with all the mod love, it's beautiful... Angelina Jolie is promoting the wrong charity. TiBB mods strive for respect in a forum of piss-takers. :bawling:

We are not, although the times we are on improved our chances. I was brought to the mod team for being fairly active, having a good rapport with the forum and because I'm usually active between 1AM - 7AM when most of the others are sleeping. Wheras someone like Niamh, for example, is more active during the daytime.

I was only made a mod so early on because I had no life at all when i joined. i think I was pretty much online for a month straight, got about 3000 posts or something ridiculous like that. They needed someone who would be on through the night, which i was. was only meant to be until the end of BB that year but they kept me :love:

That was right! Me, you and Marc all used to be on late at night and through the early hours. :love:
