Could be interesting though, imagine how hard it will be to not discuss them, and how many times they'll just let it slip without realising. The Big Brothe reveal on the couch about nomination talk and who said what is so good

sampvt 20-06-2012 10:19 PM

how come bblb are not mentioning it. They are pretending it isnt happening and are asking for suggestions. Where did this spoiler come from. Is it BS

BBLB?

Are you talking to us from the year 2010?

I uploaded the video of BB announcing it to so its 100% not fake.

This is actually the death of the series now. That's it.

Agreed... It was the single best innovation since BB1. Actually did away with the pretence of 'being themselves' and just let them rip each other apart = good telly

seanraff07 20-06-2012 10:23 PM

It's only going to be good if the punishments for discussing nominations now is proper strict. If it's just silly punishments then banishing discussing them is a bit pointless IMO.

MeMyselfAndI 20-06-2012 10:28 PM

This is why BBUS > BBUK.
BB US is so backstabbing & for gameplayers. BBUK is like a nice 70day social meeting

In the video, BB said SEVERE punishments will be handed out.

Not reading into that too much until I actually see proper evidence!

maryse12 20-06-2012 10:57 PM

So stupid! You can't change it half way through! The series is ruined now. It should have been decided at the beginning of the series.

The series is ruined?

Thats a bit far aint it?

They can allways change it back. Since BB1 a fundemental rule off BB is that they can change the rules at any time and they just did.

No. I like it when our BB can move away from all the game playing and just stay on people having interesting conversations rather than constant nom talk. BBUSA is just purely a game show. Whilst the UK one is a game too, for the viewer it had other interests too. Of course the interesting conversations have gotten slimmer with each passing series.

joeysteele 20-06-2012 11:13 PM

Excellent, they have saved the series for me as further down the line it would have been nothing else but noms talk. Great decision and well done to the 88% who resoundly said they hated the noms talk and wanted it back to how it used to be.

Macie Lightfoot 20-06-2012 11:28 PM

Seriously such a rubbish decision and at the worst time too.

iRyan 20-06-2012 11:29 PM

Urgh, and they were all JUST talking about putting Luke S up too. Now he'll probably make it to the final...

Jordan. 20-06-2012 11:33 PM

Why are they listening to the mongs on facebook? Makes the past two weeks pointless now.

Not only on there. Twitter, the website, TiBB and DS. In each place, there was over 80% that wanted it banned.

cfromhx02 20-06-2012 11:50 PM

It's a disgrace. Have the BB Bosses got no brains or is it deliberately done to make it hard for the new team that is forming to get rid of members of the bitches team.

rusticgal 20-06-2012 11:52 PM

....and one hour of LF on july 6th...THEY ARE LISTENING!!!

kefln 20-06-2012 11:55 PM

GREAT NEWS!!! :elephant:

Was delighted when it was announced on BOTS.

Scotty07 20-06-2012 11:55 PM

Just seen that exclusive clip on BOTS with Adam and Luke A talking nominations in the garden. Terrible timing stopping it now.:suspect:

I could understand if this series was flopping but when it's up on last years series with these changes (which no doubt has caused all the talking points so far) it seems a bit silly to change it back.

rinkydinkpanther 20-06-2012 11:56 PM

sadly too late for benedict and lauren....both are fit as heck, hes is starting to warm up nicely now and shes not had a chance thanks to the oh so predictable pack of bullyingwitches we see every year

C5 have a number in their books, audience wise, that justifies the expense of running BB. We as viewers don't know what that number is.

Rule changes are nothing new to BB, they've always thrown things in the works. Remember the first time they tried a house divide? It was a total shock.

dylissimo 21-06-2012 12:40 AM

Very disappointed by this.. was really enjoying all the game-playing and it was only gonna get better when they'd have to turn on each other!!

I just hope they will slip up a lot now that they are so used to discussing noms!

rinkydinkpanther 21-06-2012 12:44 AM

can u imagine all the eye rolling and nodding winking etc from nasty nadia and co....her and the witches know exactly who their clique will vote for theyll just use code

james130 21-06-2012 01:27 AM

Think this is the first time BB have listened to the viewers though. Only wish they'd made it more of a twist or task like.
They could've "can one housemate come to the diary room." then told that housemate the change and said it's up to them whether they wish to inform the others or see them get punished.

BBUKAUSFAN 21-06-2012 03:15 AM

ewww this is the worse thing ever but i still think that the lydia group will be outted in due course, lets hope Caroline has plotted into the future!

billy123 21-06-2012 03:29 AM

Well they tried it and it didnt work.
With noms talk it turned into a bitchfest that only appealed to bitchy little girls and fools.
I just hope BB has the resolve to put their foot down and apply the rule properly.

jyunga 21-06-2012 03:38 AM

It's awesome. They've been so used to talking about noms and now they have to stop. They'll be paranoid wondering if they got to people enough to keep themselves from going up.

Scotty07 21-06-2012 03:52 AM

Yes it is going to be interesting to see if they can keep their mouths shut now.:joker: Maybe they will all be up for eviction as punishment. About time they did this and not stupid ****y punishments like taking away hot water/clothes/hair equipment. Those type of punsihments are utterly pointless and bring nothing to the series.:sleep::sleep:

vortex 21-06-2012 03:59 AM

Im really happy about this, all the show highlights was about nominations talk, we dont get to see different sides to every hm personality, I hope that the punishments are extremely severe if they do talk about, it's gonna be interesting to watch.

Valdora 21-06-2012 04:20 AM

To me I like both the UK and USA versions of the show so I was down with it either way. But the Big Brother of the past 2 years has not been MY Big Brother. But I have more of a problem with the production than the noms talk, however...

What I got into Big Brother for and what most of you probably did was to see a group of people locked in a house. We then vote on the one we like the most. So long as the public vote the winner then game playing will never win overall, even Arron last year was not a total arse hole. If the show can get back to liking the nice people, while enjoying the drama then it's good. However if it gets dull because this lot don't know how to be normal BB then production can always change it back.

At the end of the day I want to see Big Brother giving them good tasks and f'king with them more. That's what I tuned in for. The housemates don't rule the show, we do and Big Brother does. And that's the way it should be.

BigBrotherfan4ever 21-06-2012 11:14 AM

I'm glad in a way they have changed to not been allowed to talk about nominations, it's going to be fun & games seeing the HM's punished for talking about them(cause no doubt they will slip up at some point), but I would like to think maybe later in the series maybe a day before nominations they allow them to talk about them just for the day, one thing is for certain I'm pretty sure this will get Lydia & possibley Deana evicted fairly soon I woud think.

Raph 21-06-2012 11:34 AM

YES!!! This has made my day :D

Blink_Me 21-06-2012 01:34 PM

No doubt Lydia will be crying in the corner now.

bananarama 21-06-2012 05:09 PM

Allowing noms talk in the first place was a pretty brainless decision....If it aint broke don't fix it. BB was is not broke its all down to the quality of housemates selected from the start as to if BB works or not.

Talking noms just leads to a string of back stabbing boring talk leaving no mystery to the viewer as to who will vote which way. Talking noms makes the show too brain dead predictable......Glad they have done the intelligent thing and are being true to the UK BB format. The Americans can have the American BB way and keep it to themselves......No need for the UK to copy everything those nuts do.......

Mystic Mock 21-06-2012 05:25 PM

They've done it to stop Team Lyds from getting Luke S and Caroline up for the vote as I have a feeling those two would have been the two that Team Lyds would have been targeting if given a little longer to discuss nominations.

BB want Lydia out next week I think.

Bang on.

Now it'll just be back to same old ****ty BB that everyone got bored of years ago.

Awful news and it has killed this series hugely.
