WTF? Family Guy gets nearly a million viewers some nights and the channel surely does just as well as ITV2?
Luckily I have all Family Guy on box sets but its just not the same as watching it on tv for some reason, its like when Friends was pulled from E4 lol. |

Come to think of it why don't they just axe BBC4 does anyone watch that? BBC3 has been a platform for some massive shows which eventually became prime time hits on BBC1.
|
Solution. Axe BBC4, move all the BBC4 shows to BBC3 during the day since the channel is offline half the day... and replace BBC4 with BBC1+1.

No BBC4 has imported Euro Police Dramas massive hit. Also Tony like BBC4 |

No those channels on TV have to start at 7PM that daytime signal is used by other channels BBC3 moving online can be 24/7 of course |
So, will BBC4 become BBC3.... or will it go 1,2,4?
|
BBC4
|
Gutted:(. There are so many good programmes on BBC 3 too.
I would rather BBC 2 or 4 went, don't watch much programmes on them. |
:bawling: gutted. Let's just hope that the BBC Trust have our interests in their final conclustion, and decide to keep it on air.

But there is not the money for BBC3 now even if more sign up saying save it, the Money BBC3 TV used to have is going to BBC1 and 2 Drama or they get worse Are you going to stop future contracts? BBC3 lives on Online Only so its not like a Six feet under deal its move with the modern times, Many who will have Smart TV's will have BBC iplayer and other ch's online connected to their Smart TV's |
Quote:
You are aware BBC3 moves to iplayer online so its not lost forever |
Quote:
No it goes BBC1+1 in place of BBC3 TV Clever fit As BBC3 lives on Online only |

and the other good imports (Ja'mie Private School Girl, Wilfred) will get picked up by other channels most likely anyway, most HBO stuff does. |
BBC3 made Gavin & Stacey <3

BBC3 is also home to the majority of live music festivals, I can't imagine Reading/Leeds being on any of the other BBC channels myself
I still hope this is reversed, closing it to save money is one thing but after today they've revealed that isn't even the case, they're just giving the majority of the funds to ****ing drama on BBC1 which is perfectly good anyway. And an extra hour of CBBC...who...why...what...how is this necessary? As I said yesterday CBBC and CBeebies could easily be merged. I also find it quite patronising that young people are being pigeon holed into this assumption that we all want to, or at least should start to watch our programmes online as and when we want to. Um...I quite like having TV schedules, knowing something is on at a certain time each week, being able to watch at the same time as other people, thanks. I read this earlier and I pretty much agree with every word. Quote:

well that ****ing sucks
|
Yes Jack
loads of people and stars are angry its moving online only. But Jack - tell me you understand that there is no funding for future BBC3 TV More Cut backs will even effect BBC4, later on Cohen - the BBCTV boss said on Radio 5 today Jack tell me you understand the BBC has less money now? BBC World Service is getting massive Cut Backs They have not got the money they used to have Utter Fact |
"BBC3 is also home to the majority of live music festivals"
Some may go onto BBC4HD TV as well as BBC3 Online |
Not happy about this at all but what can you do.
I thought it were going get BBC 1+1 this year Is that still on the cards? |

BBC1+1 does not have a start date now - But still Confirmed [Full details on when BBC One +1 will launch and how it will be made available to licence fee payers will be confirmed in due course.] Read more: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/news/...#ixzz2vMHvNSGS BBC3 TV goes August (approx) 2015 so it may replace that slot |
The BBC Trust have backed the proposal
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-33328907 Pathetic. |
 a £100m bid to save it and 300k signatures, yet the BBC doesn't listen. All today's decision proves is that the BBC doesn't care about young people any more.
|
where else am i gonna watch 13 year old episodes of family guy at 11pm :(

Feck the Trust they need to be removed |

now itv 2 has FG and AD and it's going to be shown on BBC 2 as well idc anymore
if they want to lose money and viewers let them |
The second public consultation is open - this could be crucial to the final decision that will be made by the BBC Trust later this year.

Yes FG was on BBC2 the other night They are getting ready to launch 24/7 BBC3 Online |
and
BBC One +1 can take its place |
I can't deal with Family guy once a week on BBc2, I need to watch 3 episodes I've already seen 4 times a night on BBc3, and ITV has adverts which ruins everything
|

Quote:
Yes some said that but the BBC slot on BBC3 postion can be the BBC1+1 place |
BBC3 has recently gone crap they've got rid of most of their good shows so I don't care if it goes now tbh I will miss American Dad though because correct me if I'm wrong have ITV2 not bought the rights to it?
My favourite BBC3 shows were: Snog marry avoid Bad education Ja'mie private school girls Family guy American dad But the top three have all finsished their runs and family guy is being bought |
get rid of bbc 3 they are killing the bbc
