That's exactly what I did when I was feeding him and it helped a bit

…yeah, it’ll help him to focus on you and the soothing motions on his face/around his nose and hopefully distract him from the dummy for at least a short while to get a little sleep…I hope that your able to get some rest as well, Jess……

If you are having a hot shower, take him in the bathroom with you, the shower steam will also help with his breathing
Hope you both feel better soon

Yeah, they sell them in the pharmacy and supermarkets

Maru 30-04-2025 05:07 PM

Last two colds I had significant breathing issues, but the symptoms were similar to that of hub's (just less severe with the breathing)... so I can see some of the bugs that have been going around mimicking COVID. FWIW, I've never tested positive for COVID but I don't get sick often. Anyway, I have an inhaler now because I have seasonal asthma now apparently  Maybe I'm just old...

If only. They're still inflated in price here but I think it's because people don't test unless they feel they have to, plus it's backed by our insurance usually, so the company can put any price on it for OTC (over the counter)...

I get tests sent for free, but I don't bother with those. Dont have a fever.

Is a fever one of the main symptoms now ?

I didn’t have any fevers when I had Covid twice previously

I never get a fever with it, I can tell by the sore throat and the sinus pains and the exhaustion.

I'm still feeling really bad, I do think it's covid, though I don't really have time to dwell on it :joker:

I think we're contagious so I'm avoiding going around people

I'm a lot better now, just struggling with shortness of breath. My throat was extremely sore yesterday but some warm drinks and a good nights sleep has really eased it.

Vanessa 03-05-2025 12:30 PM

I'm feeling better as well. Thank god

Why are you testing?

COVID was 4 years ago FFS

Friendlykev92 23-07-2025 08:19 PM

My parents had it so just to be on the safe side we did a test

If you are outdoors and away from other people I dont see the issue, we have not been required to stay home for Covid for over 3 years, its just another flu now so no need to worry
