I didn't think the white new gollywogs were real at first, I thought it was a fake photo as that looked weird as well :facepalm: .
The name is derogatory, interesting how they still keep the same name but want to change the colour because that makes sense NOT :crazy:.
Like I said the way this couple have them hung around the pub is strange, and why are they so determined to keep them when they're ancient dolls that look bizarre .
It's like having ventriloquist puppets hung around up in a pub ,gives a weird theme and doesn't fit in .
I know some vintage shops sell them, and seaside shops. Some see them as harmless funny looking dolls from their childhood . Others dislike them .
