tonight europa league |
|
After the sh&t show against Liverpool on Sunday, I'm dreading tonight's game. 'Tactical genius Arteta' announced the other day that he was changing the teams tactic. What could possibly go wrong?
People say we've got an easy draw. Really? The team we play against tonight beat Rangers last round and thrashed Leicester the previous. If we get past them we should get the team that put Spurs put . Both of those are above us in the table so I dont see any 'easy' games and I'm expecting us to go out this round. |
Bellerin and Willian in the line up. Those two stunk up the right hand side of the pitch in that patch of games where we lost three out of four at home :bored:
Pepe and Auba on the bench. No Odergaard in the squad. We're ******ed. |
LOL Ajax 1-0 ahead and then losing 1-2 :laugh3: dumb dutch amateurs :laugh3:
good on United for that win against Granada, 0-2 is a good aggregate lead arsenal  gonna struggle definitely in return now, since 0-0 is enough for Slavia too, so all pressure on gunners Villarreal good result against Zagreb, also out there which is impressive considering they are quite a strong team at home usually but maybe now the quarter final pressure got to them idk |
tonight returns
PSG - Bayern Munich (aggregate first match: 3-2) Chelsea - FC Porto (aggregate first match: 2-0) |
title holders Bayern Munich out of CL
good enough for Chelsea either, that 0-1 loss tonight Liverpool - Real Madrid (aggregate 1-3) Borussia Dortmund - Manchester City (aggregate 1-2) |
tonight europa league
AS Roma - Ajax (aggregate 2-1) Manchester United - Granada (aggregate 2-0) Slavia Prague - Arsenal (aggregate 1-1) Villarreal - Dinamo Zagreb (aggregate 1-0) |
Tomorrow Real Madrid - Chelsea
Wednesday Paris Saint-Germain - Manchester City returns are on May 4th, 5th Thursday EL Manchester United - AS Roma Villarreal - Arsenal returns on May 6th |
good first result for Chelsea the 1-1
|
good win for City
could we have a english CL final? |
2 great games last two nights. PSG seem to flatter to deceive every year, City did a real job on them second half
|
city have a point to prove , the question is if they can overcome their demons and get to the final. They should have arguably been there for the last few seasons and always done a spurs
|
will be 2 good games tonight i think
|
It's great when theres loads of british teams left.
|
United are dominating this 2nd half.
That trophy is ours. |
today Manchester City - PSG (aggregate: 2-1)
tomorrow: Chelsea - Real Madrid (aggregate: 1-1) |
City for first time in CL final
2-0 win twice Mahrez |
an all english CL final it is in Istanbul then
stunning win from Chelsea over Real Mason Mount getting a lot of praise i read |
Perez will miss out on the big final cash payout which is the most amusing aspect of it all.
|
They should move the final to Wembley, its kinda madness to take it to a country currently in full lockdown
|
20 years ago, this would have been great, exciting news two have to English clubs in the final.
Today, I couldn't give a toss. Money and greed has ripped the heart and soul out of football |
This tournament have favoured City, had there been fans allowed they would have gone out in the Quarters again
|
It's all gone to pot since Mr Wenger left.
They need a huge turnaround in staff, players and culture of the club to stop the downward spiral. No ambitious manager would see that job as a good move to take right now. |
It was going down hill before Wenger left.
Arteta must be a dead man walking after that garbage. Couldn't beat the man he replaced and is gonna finish lower in the league that Emery ever did. ITs embarrassing. The squad is not a mid table squad at all but they cant put two decent performances together. On top of that there's the players Arteta has 'exiled'. Its all adding up to show he's a bit deluded and clueless. IF you ask him what is his best team - Willian and Xhaka would probably be the first names he says and neither are good enough. |
Wouldn’t be surprised to see Arteta gone tomorrow morning.
|
Take tonight Martinelli couldn't get into the starting line up yet he was one of the only one who looked at all good at the weekend. Kid cant get two games in row and even Martin Keown has commented that its clear Arteta dont rate him. Tonight he came on and did what he always does ie frighten the life out of the full backs. I bet he wont play at the weekend.

Arteta think he's his mentor Pep but he doesnt have any where near the quality in his squad that Guardiola had. This is the deluded and clueless parts that he shows week after.
Arteta cant prepare two teams a week so it may be a blessing that we arent in Europe next year, He cant handle two games in week. He'll embarrass himself in at least one with insipid tactics and crazy team line ups |

The Champions League final between Chelsea and Manchester City on 29 May will take place in Portugal with 6,000 fans from each club able to attend.
The game has been moved from Turkey to the Portuguese city of Porto because of coronavirus restrictions. Portugal is on England's green list so players and fans can attend without having to quarantine on their return home. Turkey is on the red list. |
Barcelona women won the CL last night, against Chelsea with 0-4 with a big role for our Lieke Martens :clap1: |
Manchester City owner Sheikh Mansour will pay the travel costs of fans attending the Champions League final.
Supporters purchasing tickets will be offered a place on the club's official trip to Portugal. City have received 6,000 tickets for the game against Premier League rivals Chelsea in Porto on 29 May. The initiative is "designed to ease the financial pressure on fans after the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic," a club statement read. :clap1: |
