Yes, I hope so

I think we're waiting for my brother to come hom from Uni before we get one because it's normally a tradition of ours to go with our Dad every year :)

Do you guys go and get a real tree from the 'Christmas tree farm'? Where you choose which one you want and they chop it down for you!

Sort of, we go to an arboretum where we get one, but they're all already chopped down we just go through them and pick one :)

Not sure why we've always done that instead of converting to artificial tree seeing as they're a lot less hassle, guess it's just tradition, it means we dont get one until quite late though

Kerry 12-12-2010 02:32 AM

I'd love a real tree. Not sure why we never get one really. When I was a kid we always had a real tree

KG. 12-12-2010 02:34 AM

I'd love a real tree but we just don't have the room :(

Benjamin 12-12-2010 02:35 AM

Real trees are better! They smell amazing, although the needles get really annoying after a while. They get everywhere, even the most random of places. I remember I got to school once and opened one of my books and a few needles fell out of the pages. They must have got into my bag somehow.

It's a nice family tradition to have too.

Yeah but we have a designated corner for the Christmas tree that the artificial one fits just right, so I don't think we'll be replacing that in a while :P Would love it to be a real one though.

My Nan always had a real tree. I can remember her having a carpet fitted and when they pulled her old one up there was pine needles everywhere. Being a clean freak she was mortified but how she could stop pine needles falling down the sides of the carpet I don't know

Yeah the needles can be a bit of a hassle like that

I do like the idea of having a real tree, although they do have their drawbacks. I really need to start getting into the Christmas spirit a bit, I havent been playing the music yet, we've got no decorations up and I havent even though about shopping

Benjamin 12-12-2010 02:41 AM

I haven't done my Christmas shopping yet either

Kerry 12-12-2010 02:42 AM

I'm very behind but I'm always as organised as a bowl of spaghetti these days

Benjamin 12-12-2010 02:50 AM

Right I'm off to bed. Night/Morning all
