They are infinitely better than Mikel... that will be proven this year with them all fit and Deco and Ballack pushing again for spots in the team. Essien will be played as much as possible. Mikel will be dropped eventually if everyone is fit.

Essien is, they jsut make forward runs more, and they mikel stays back.

Mikel won't be dropped he is rated highly by Ancelotti and the fans He played so well in 2008-2009 season that he was nominated for the club player and young player of the season.

Essien is, they jsut make forward runs more, and they mikel stays back.
Essien is versatile.... can literally play anywhere on the park. Mikel is a donkey in my opinion and will eventually be dropped.
