#10 – Vicky

Perhaps TiBB’s most prominent and respected moderator, Vicky, slips into the top 10 this time around, which I’m sure she will be delighted with! Vicky “gets involved and works hard here” in the words of one member, “she’s a brilliant mod, and makes this forum a better place to be” in the words of another. The praise for Vicky’s moderating skills came flooding in, with examples such as this one going to show that it is entirely possible to be respected for being a good moderator and appreciated for being a good member too: “Vicky is a brilliant forum member and mod, she's always up for a laugh and I find it refreshing that she posts exactly what she's thinking without trying to sugar coat it, it’s some of those type of posts from her that have me pissing myself laughing.” Another member gave words to similar effect, saying that “all things considered: has to be one of the best mods on here – certainly as far as public perception is concerned and that’s all that matters at the end of the day. As a general member, she’s got a wicked sense of humour as well as often having a reasonable approach in debates.” Vicky’s early days on TiBB are well documented: she turned up, talked sense and became a moderator in an unprecedented short space of time. One member commented on this: “Vicky's a solid member and mod that I've grown to appreciate over the time I've known her. She had quite a meteoric rise to prominence on TiBB due to her early modship and it's not hard to see why as it's a role she's flourished in.” Many of the votes reflect the level of respect that voters have for her, for example, “we may have our disagreements but overall I respect her as a mod and she is quite strict on members like me who disrespect the rules.” Another member said that they “didn’t have a particularly strong opinion on her before but I’ve found her to be friendly, funny and intelligent and even though I disagreed with her a lot during BB she was always reasonable about it, and was tirelessly moderating in the section despite having to put up with a lot of s**t from a certain couple of members.” Vicky “argued well during BB12, always stuck to her guns and is a really nice member.” Overall, it seems, Vicky “says it as it is” and, in the words of one member, is “probably the fairest moderator we have. I like the way she thinks and I agree with her on most things.” Welcome back to the top 10 Vicky!
