Previous winner Niamh drops to 5th place, like Shaun in the competition before her. Ranking as the highest female on the list, Niamh’s popularity remains intact. Her ability to take abuse has been pushed to the limits, but in spite of jibes about how she doesn’t work, is older than time itself, is a man and has a name pronounced something like “knee” (it’s ‘knee-v’, in case you didn’t know), Niamh still posts on a daily basis. One of our moderating team, Niamh is the mother goose of the forum, and always has a kind word to say about everyone. One member paid tribute to Niamh’s kindness, saying “charming, funny and beautiful. I hate her, really… Niamh rules with a rod of marshmallow rather than iron, and yet she still manages keeps order. She’s fun, patient, fair, big-hearted and I can’t think of anyone who doesn’t like and respect her.” Niamh is “wonderful”, a “cool bird” and “the lovely lady whose name looks like it should be pronounced Nim. She is my forum fag hag that I can be silly with and insult, and know she will take it well and give as good as she gets.” Niamh is “lovely and old” according to one member, while another voted for her because she’s “my fellow Pearl Jam buddy! Positive, fun to talk to.” Niamh is “the best person to take the piss out of on the forum. She doesn't deserve it at all but she takes it so well” as one user puts it, while another went on to say “Niamh is the mother of tibb. She is helpful and caring but at the same time wicked and naughty. Every man's perfect woman and every woman's perfect ideal.” One member said “even though we don't seem to talk as much now as we did, still love her to bits and know she'd always be there for me.” She is “one of the nicest members, would chat to anyone” and “witty and often comes across great with her no nonsense humorous posts.” She “always lights up the mood” and is “probably one of the most liked people on this forum and rightly so. She's sensible and hilarious at the same time, I really get along with her and she's so easy to talk to about anything. She'd banter with you to no end and like everybody on my list, would be sorely missed on this forum if she left. Dead cert for Top 3. People can't hate Niamh, she's too nice and relatable, and she comes across as so accepting and friendly. She's helped me in the past with a few issues and I couldn't think of anybody better to talk to about anything if I ever needed to.” As one user put it, “Niamh is such a lovely lady with a kind heart. She's so welcoming to new members and nothing is too much trouble for her. She's funny as well and doesn't take herself seriously. She's an absolute credit to the Mod team.”
