I don't know about it never being in doubt.

But I'm happy for Utd fans that their team are the second most likely team to lift the FA Cup this season.

You just need to hope that Chelsea can play a blinder against Man City.

It's good to see that Charlton's been picking up.

i would imagine it more of a tactic from liverpool to avoid their players being called up for friendlies in the international break. Keeping the players fresh for the run in

Zizu 18-03-2024 01:41 PM

Rumours abound suggesting Nottingham Forest are set to lose 4 points as punishment which puts them just under Luton and in the bottom 3 - just 2 points ahead of Burnley who are possibly thinking they now have a chance of survival

Sooooo Harry Kane’s legendary ankle problems have resurfaced apparently

He has still joined up with the England squad though

If Harry Kane is injured that's excellent news for Arsenal!

Swan 18-03-2024 01:54 PM

I dread these International breaks, they're just so nothingy!

bots 18-03-2024 02:02 PM

i think this international break is almost entirely friendlies, which no team needs in the final run in of the season

I’m not sure that I would have chosen Brazil and Belgium as warm up matches intended to breed confidence

Guess it could be a masterstroke if we win both .. and convincingly .. playing great football

There's been too many International breaks this season imo.

Brazil and Belgium are overrated.

They both get classed as some of the greatest teams, despite not even being in a competitive final in recent years.

bots 19-03-2024 06:17 AM

friendlies don't mean anything to most teams. None put in the same effort they would in a competitive game. If countries don't know their strongest teams by now, they never will

Man United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe 'confident of luring Gareth Southgate to Old Trafford as England boss emerges as the overwhelming choice' to replace Erik ten Hag after INEOS hold talks with club legends

:laugh2::laugh2::laugh2:

Please make this happen. What do the Man Utd fans on the forum think of this?

Chelsea have been heavily linked with Simone Inzaghi, i really hope we make it happen.

I did say in my Man Utd summary that INEOS like him.

IF he gets that job then it means Maguire stays., Mason Mount plays every game - even if injured and Rashford plays even if he's stinking up the pitch.

bots 19-03-2024 04:23 PM

the united fans would love Gareth to be the new manager

He has shown far more tactical awareness than Ten Hag for sure

This is true

He'll probably sign Kalvin Phillips too:hehe:

Crimson Dynamo 19-03-2024 05:06 PM

I could not take the Mark Goldbridge watch-a-long hanging if this occurred

Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo has received his first call-up to the England squad for the upcoming friendlies against Brazil and Belgium.

Mainoo, 18, was originally named in the under-21s squad but has been promoted to Gareth Southgate's senior side.

England play Brazil on Saturday and Belgium on 26 March - both at Wembley - their final games before Southgate names his squad for Euro 2024.

The rest of the 26-man squad reported to St George's Park on Tuesday.

Zizu 19-03-2024 08:18 PM

I hadn’t realised how bad Brazil were these days !

Coming off THREE defeats. .. supposedly the worst set of players in their history .

New coach/ manager

Best two keepers are unavailable so the three keepers in their squad are all uncapped

Their best two CB’s are unavailable

Casemiro is unavailable
