Personally I don't like to see red cards given out, but I've seen them given out for less than what Jones did today without the commentators saying a word.

However I will say a fantastic performance from Liverpool considering they went down to nine men, imo they deserved something out of the match.

It looked clearly ONSIDE yet it was the fastest VAR decision ever and we weren’t shown the VAR lines

I’m guessing there was a technical glitch and they just went with the linesmen’s opinion

I will say that I agree with Denver on the offside goal, I honestly don't know what the VAR team was thinking when not allowing the goal to stand.

Hang on, lets look at all the close ones over the past 3 weeks, none were given, they favour the defender now it seems. This wasn't exclusively a Liverpool qualm

This is the 3rd red card this season they gave us that was a red and we not even in November

Jota's was deserved, Jones' was debatable, it was 50/50. Wasn't CLEARLY NOT a red. It was a "yeah, i can see why it was given" - "was a little harsh though as his foot slipped on the ball"

I hate Spurs as much as the next person too, 1-1 would have been fine for me. But the better team won. Liverpool aren't hard done by! (the OG was unlucky)

City and Man U have suffered from sending offs too, its not like liverpool are being singled out. Didn't arsenal get a sending off too?

Were they the better team? They had every decision go for them and played against 9 men and couldn't score, took an own goal to win and then the pratts celebrated like they won the P

We had so many sending off for weak reasons and lets not forget Jota shouldn't have actually been sent off, he got a yellow card because a player threw himself to the floor when he wasn't near him bit what do I expect when the same VAR team told the world its acceptable to boot a player in the chest last season

I can't really continue this debate as putting praise on Spurs hurts my soul. But they kept coming, Liverpool defending well, they didn't give up and were rewarded.

Ok, the "best" team, maybe not, it was very evenly matched. But overall yeah, they had the heart (im gonna be sick) to carry on to the death, and they got their winning goal. Take it on the chin Denver!

I think it's a mix of both tbh.

Id rather lose 5-0 then what ever that farce was today.

The refs shouldn't be given a license at all and the VAR team hold be struck off.

They make so many bad decisions in every game and are not good enough to ref Sunday league
