Lady GaGa and Kanye West will go on a joint tour together later this year, it's been announced.

West revealed initial details aout the shows during an appearance on US chat show The View yesterday.

"She's talented and so incredible that she's not an opening act," he said. "We're doing it together, with no opening act."

The tour, which is expected to incorporate venues across North America, brings together two of music's most talked about figures.

As Entertainmentwise reported yesterday, Lady GaGa is currently on a promotional tour of Japan.

The singer wasted no time in embracing the countries traditional Harajuku outfits on a morning TV show.
