The underlying infection as I have been trying to explain, has been a rouge meme propagating self from person to person.

People who would not have criminality in their nature, suddenly go out to riot and loot, without a thought for the consequence.

They way it happened reminds me of the way that certain malware will jump from computer to computer, leaving in it's wake a machine that will steal banking information, send out spam and log on to premium rate porn sites, that the user would never even think of going near.

The underlying infection of these rogue memes are a malware of the mind, and more people need to be educated as to what they are and how deadly they can be.

I say deadly, because a few years back in one Welsh town there was an epidemic of teen suicides by hanging. One girl who was found in time could not recall why she tried to take her own life.

In the case of the riots, at least here in the north we got lucky, the weather was atrocious keeping people off the streets, and like the aids virus, if it is out of the body for a period of time, this meme up here failed to find a large enough body of people to infect and replicate itself before it died.

We are dealing with an enemy that is malevolent, insidious and definitely a threat to life and order.

(good morning BTW Alex) :)

What they all had in common was they all were susceptible to a malicious piece of information coding called a meme

She is believed to be the first council tenant in the country to face losing her home over rioting and looting which blighted the nation this week.
Council leader Ravi Govindia said: "In Wandsworth we are determined to take the strongest possible action against any tenant or member of their household responsible for the truly shocking behaviour perpetrated on local homes and businesses earlier this week."

They are all different disturbances in the last 24 hours.
I could fill the page with this bollocks its so bad over there they have resorted to renaming it "flash mobs" so it doesnt sound as bad and this doesnt even make ripples in the news in that cesspit you call home.
The fact that rioting in the uk is so rare that the world gets to hear about it is testament to the uk now get back under your bridge ;)

What about these non-destructive flash mobs

joeysteele 14-08-2011 09:25 AM

I just get angry at David Starkey,he is far too extreme in his views and his delivery of his points has him near ranting not speaking sensibly to make a point, people get very turned off by that aggression.

Also reading up a bit in Local Authorities it would seem Wandsworth Council has often been a loose cannon with extreme elements to it especially towards who gets termed as the lower classes in its boundaries.
In time this policy they are adopting may yet get them into bother and possibly the Govt too for allowing it with the court of human rights.

:joker::joker: Oh don't get me started on the BBC, it's quality of presenting and news has gone down greatly in recent years. It also wastes money left, right and centre.

When I leave home after Uni, the one thing I will begrudge every pence of will be the ridiculous tax that is the TV licence, for the privilege of having TV and to be able to watch it.Only for the BBC.

If the BBC thinks David Starkey is good to watch then it shows how out of touch and antiquated the BBC's thinking is at the top.

Yes thats the shame of it that in the hope of trying to fool the american people that everything is ok and that there is nothing to see here that they are tainting the image of a lot of good people.
The yanks are desperate to play down signs of civil unrest so are trying their misguided best to avoid the words protest, riots or demonstrations and instead trying to call it something that sounds a little less harmful in the hope that it gets less attention from the media.

MTVN 18-08-2011 12:22 AM

Yeah I saw that earlier, disgusting :bored: Least it sounds like some people were trying to help the guy, the bloke on the scooter was allowed to ride off no problems though, even though he crashed it

Zippy 18-08-2011 01:58 AM

That footage shows exactly why they need to be hit hard. You allow mindless thugs like that to take over the streets and thats the kind of hell you get.
