It's only the finale to season 2 that I felt wrapped the season's story up sufficiently.

Season 3 is more... I don't know how to describe it really... Catty? But you should watch it for Kathy Bates alone, she plays a fantastic part

It's not scary. It's just got quite a few creepy bits. I wouldn't say scary personally, but I guess everyone has different ideas of scary.

Season 2 definitely was the best start to finish and had the best ending imo as well but I did also like Season 1

I agree.

I just felt season 1 came to a bit of an abrupt end.

I hope Hotel goes back to the ways of Season 2. I'm finding Freak Show very very slow paced.

Well, the fact that they've recruited Lady GaGa makes me think that it'll be another "musical" not into that tbh. That name game scene in Asylum was amazing, one of my favourites in the whole thing. It was so quirky and out of place in there. But then Coven just went OTT and started throwing songs in everywhere for no apparent reason and it got annoying

The Name Game was a really nice surprise in Asylum. It was so fun to watch, and I liked how random it was. It fitted so well in the fact Jude's character was a singer before becoming a nun and working at Briarcliff - it was a really clever aspect I think to bring in the characters past in a way.

TNG was really clever. I kind of liked how they fitted in this bright, colourful and almost happy moment right in the middle of a very dark season. Also the fact the song fitted in with Jude kind of being confused and her brain living in this opposite world was interesting.

It's a shame in Coven and Asylum the writers thought oh people loved that in Asylum, lets have songs in every other episode. In both the cases of Coven and Freakshow it seems like the songs were forced in there. Witches = Stevi Nicks = Music!! Freakshow = Performers = Music!!

I kinda hope Hotel has a more Asylum/Murder House vibe, something dark and twisted. I'm worried those days are long gone, the show is more mainstream now and they don't seem to want to alter the tone of the show too much in fear of losing viewers. If Hotel is on the same level of Freakshow and Coven I doubt I'll be able to stick by the show beyond that.

Agree totally with everything you said there Jamesy. I think I'm going to wait to hear some reviews about Hotel from you lot before I watch it

I still need to watch freakshow :omg: Saying this the reviews I hear aren't great... Sister Mary Eunice is in it though and she's my fave I'm confused as to what to do
