Is next week the mid-week eviction? I thought it was in July?

Yeah, it's in the first week of July. Still have half of June until that time.

A double eviction doesn't look like it will happen, but I would love it if it did. It's just a guarantee that Nobbi is out of there.

I'm not getting overly confident that Nobbi is out of there though. By some strange reason, Brigitte or Terri could be going out the doors next. So right now I'm just keeping my hopes up.

I checked Lasseters and Sportingbet, and the odds are pretty much the same. Travis is still on top of the winner odds (with Ben and Rory behind him for some odd reason), and Nobbi is on top of the eviction odds.

Now I would love to get confident and say that Nobbi is definitely out of the house this coming Sunday, but I'm not going to. For the past two weeks, the person who was at the top of the eviction odds stayed in the house, and another person ended up going.

I just finished watching the latest daily show. Brigitte and Terrence's "date" was pretty funny. And I'm liking the secret task. BBAU has been going with their tasks. Ugh, but train spotting sounds like it's going to be a disaster.

The secret task is nice, a lot better than most BBAU tasks but not quite up to par with BBUK.

My opinions on some housemates have changed, such as I'm starting to like Bianca more and Travis less.

Same here, Rory. Travis has gone down in my books. It could be because he's part of the Black Crows Cult. :laugh:

I'm loving the secret task more now that it has progressed. I now see that the task is going to get extremely more difficult, especially when every housemate is part of the secret cult except one housemate. That's going to be a huge challenge, for everyone to get outside and try to hide the secret from that one housemate.

For anyone who's curious, Brigitte and Terri were just recruited into the group. The remaining housemates who have no clue about the secret task are Travis, Terrence, Ben, and Rory.

I cannot stand Travis, I really hope he doesn't win, anyone but him but I have a feeling he will be in final 2 with Brigitte.
I'm enjoying more and more this series, as always the task is good and funny to watch. Can't wait for Sunday eviction, I'm sure it will be a busy night...Cherry or Nobbi ???

Has anyone noticed in today's HL when Nobbi, Terri, Rory, Cherry, Bianca, Ben and Travis where around the pool and while Travis was sitting on the seat he was talking but on the scene his mouth didn't move ? That was so weird.

Big Brother Australia is really all over the place this year. Mind you, I think that it's a lot better than BB07 and BB06, but what they promised at the beginning (snap evictions) they're trying to use them but to a lesser degree.

I was just watching the daily, and I can understand how the others thought Terri's "I wonder how Nobbi can see through his small slits" comment as racist, but it wasn't racist at all IMO. She was just commenting about a physical feature that Nobbi has, and she didn't mention his race at all. It just so happens that smaller eyes are common with Asians. Terri shouldn't get accused of being racist.

And then I watched FNL after the latest daily show, and I loved seeing Brigitte win! Yay! :dance:

The whole 'racist comment' Terri made is ridiculous. That was far from being racist and Terrence was right, the world is now so politically correct.

Rory, I also think BB08 is MUCH better than the last 2 terrible series we got: we are one week 7 and we still have actions ! :hugesmile:

Okay, now I'm getting kind of worried. Over on other forums, Terri is getting a lot of attention for her "slant eyes" comment. People really do believe that her comment was meant in a racist way. With Terri up for eviction, it scares me because now a lot of people may be voting for her because of that one comment. And me personally, I believe that she is NOT a racist and the comment has definitely been taken out of context.

But hopefully it'll be like Steph/Mario's situation, where Steph was highly favored to go in the beginning. Then Mario became the favorite to go, but it was pretty much too late since all those votes against Steph were already cast.

I think Terri's comment was raciest, well is racist, however it was not made in a raciest way. BB needs to bring her up on this and discuss it with her. He also needs to speak to Nobbi and then take appropriate action from there. Saying that, I still do like Terri. She is definitly one of my Top 3.

I really enjoy the moon monks task but BB got a bit OTT with it, getting them to recruit half the house. I can understand Bianca's fustration.

After Terri's comments and the way Cherry acted earlier in the week, I'm still not 100% sure Nobbi will go this Sunday.

SHe is just an ignorant idiot for saying such thing. Racist or not, it just shows how idiotic she really is. As for it beng just one comment, I think its fair enough., since everyone was up in arms because of one probing question nobbi asked! I always thought she had something a Nobbi, against based on nothing from the start. So have always been suspicious of her motives!
