Tibb big brpther 2013 Quiz will start on the 3rd October

I have decided to not run Apprentice 4 so if anybody wants to take that then they can.

Also, I will not be running Elimination 9 next year, so if somebody wants to take over then feel free. I think my hosting days will be on a hiatus until further notice.

When do you guys think the best time for the next pub quiz would be? I'm happy to take over if Greg's not interested. Also don't think there'd be any problems with clashes because it's an entirely different game and doesn't require as much time as The Mole/ICB/TIBB BB/Alliance

It'd be great to look forward to in January Shaun after the Christmas festivities leave us all flat? I always feel peeved off in January lol.

Good news all around:

I've managed to find a way to defeat Shazam. It's a little long-winded but worth it if the obligatory "music clip" round is to remain a feature in both In Cold Blood and the Pub Quiz I intend to run :) It just required pitching the mp3 of all of the clips (which I first put into one file LOL)... the songs are still recognisable to human ears, but Shazam, which was identifying the songs even when I reduced them to 3 second clips, cannot.

(if anyone wanting to run a game using a similar task wants to know how to do this, I downloaded 'GoldWave' (a free sound-editing software) and used a "pitch" under the Effect tab, and just entered in a random percentage... don't say what percentage otherwise the extra-pesky TiBBers could download it and try to alter it back :laugh: (even though that would require hellish maths skills LOL))

I think it's nice when the host is varied, you get a different type of quiz every time, so yeah go for it! I think January would be really cool, something to look forward to in the new year when the forum's a little dead!

Think February/March time would be better, CBB will be on in January
