Hollyoaks star Karen Hassan has confirmed that vengeful Silas Blissett will soon have Cheryl Brady in his sinister sights as his dark storyline continues.

Earlier this month, Lynsey discovered Silas's true colours when he broke into her flat and attacked her. She later spread the word about his behaviour around the village, but few people believed her story.

In a new interview with All About Soap, Hassan revealed that Silas (Jeff Rawle) soon seizes an opportunity to get even with Lynsey when he spots her handing over diet pills to Cheryl Brady (Bronagh Waugh).

She explained: "Lynsey buys the pills for Cheryl off the internet, which is completely innocent. But Silas spots Lynsey giving the pills to Cheryl and sees an opportunity to get his own back. His evil instincts kick in once again and he slyly swaps Cheryl's diet pills for his own medication.

"Poor Cheryl takes the wrong pills and ends up collapsing in Chez Chez. Lynsey and Rhys find her slumped unconscious in the club. It's a terrifying moment for Lynsey, who's overcome with guilt for putting her best friend in hospital."

Discussing the aftermath of the incident, the actress continued: "The doctors tell her that a high level of sedative has been found in Cheryl's blood, but Lynsey is completely flummoxed by how it could have got there. It doesn't cross her mind at this stage that Silas would have wanted to hurt Cheryl. However, I think the penny will eventually drop for her."

Hassan added that Silas is trying to "blacken" Lynsey's name with the scheme, which will play out on screen in the middle of next month.

I think they're going through the stage of showing her bad rebelling streak:p.

I know and the cast is too big now, think it needs to be trimmed down.. still i'm positive about what the new producer will do as a fan for now but that could change...

i think there is a big storyline coming up in the summer involving Mandy/Cindy and possibly Texas as SJD is always tweeting how long her days are at work recently because she is filming so much with the 2 of them..

I enjoyed tonights E4 episode, impressed with the trial flashbacks:), i'm still convinced Gilly didn't rape Jacqui but it's best to have an open mind;)...

Cheryl at last knows the truth about Brendan being gay:shocked:, thanks to Ste of course and he told her the rest..

Rhys proposed to Jacqui and she said yes at first but she's still upset over trial verdict so she changed her mind left to go to her dads place in Spain for a while:conf:, the dad who she didn't want nothing to do with. Jacqui had some good scenes with Lynsey too:).

Gilly has left the village for a while too after being shunned by Lynsey and Rhys.

It was explained how Pete got into a wheelchair. Pete and Brendan had gone camping 10 years ago, Brendan had tried to get it on with Pete and when he was rejected by Pete, drunk drove in a car and crashed into a lorry trying to kill himself but Pete had grabbed the wheel so the car crashed anyway and paralysed him.

Then some filler stuff involving Riley and Warren, dodgy car deal

Not enough evidence:p, my heart said Gilly didn't do it but my head said he did.

It's been claimed Jacqui wouldn't lie about something like that, if it happened then it's not fair and I do like her and I know this is a different situation but she is prepared to cover up a murder so for Rhys to claim she doesn't lie is frankly ridiculous...

Mercedes hypocritical about being upset over Riley being caught with that Alex although it didn't go further. Mercy has slept around but I always somehow end up feeling sorry for her as she shows her vulnerable side:blush:.

Mercedes and Carl got caught at last by Seth:shocked:. Liking Leanne a lot, causing problems for Amy and Lee. Duncan/Ricky/Seth scenes are good. Warren and Mitzeee have chemistry;).

Got a feeling too that Liberty is just on the show so that the actress can promote her musical talents then leave like what Summer did when she left with OB...
