Don't be silly, you can't possibly hate someone you don't know. I dislike her actions, different thing.
You still haven't answered the question....

You haven't asked me one.

If you mean, where do I get my opinions from, they're my opinions. I don't regurgitate something I've read or heard and use it to justify my dislike of someone I've never met.

For less than a year ;) then he abdicated so he and she could swan back and forth across the Atlantic, living the celebrity socialite life.

He abdicated because he was forbidden from having a relationship with her.

Harry is not giving up a throne and his relationship with Meghan is not forbidden.

Apples and oranges. The only comparison is they both married American women.

You can't call an argument weak when you try to discount it by saying nothing. This response you offered up is nothing more than pure projection.

Respond to what I'm saying properly or have the dignity to throw in the towel. If you don't like what I'm saying, argue against it. It shouldn't be a problem to someone like you who obviously has all the answers.

Jessica. 21-01-2020 09:44 PM

Okay it's over with now, can they be left alone?

You dont even know the history

He had to abdicate bc they'd not let him marry a divorcee.
The choice was forced on him.

I never said it was a choice? I was just saying that Harry and Megs aren't the first since the Royals started to get "celebrity" status.

You said he abdicated to live a celebrity lifestyle. He didn't.
He abdicated because he was not allowed a relationship with her.

Opinions are formed by what you see, hear and read. They just don't pop into your head from nowhere.
So my question is, from which sources have you formed your opinions of her?
I've said how I formed mine, but you seem fixated on my choice of reading material only and reference that every chance you get. Your defensiveness is bizzare.

Defensiveness?

Telling you that inventing things to dislike her for (if anything's bizarre it's that) is not through an adoration of Meghan, it's through common sense. That's literally it.

In terms of them as people, I don't have much of an opinion on them as I don't actually know them.

I have my opinions on the situation, which I've spoken at length about.

Your opinions on the situation are other people's opinions you've decided to accept as fact because they're negative.

There, you've done it again. Fixated on my reading material alone. :hehe:
What has formed your opinions then on the situation. You mustn't get them from non - tabloid papers, as that is taboo for you. What then? Megs social media fanclub? Positive twitterati?

jet 21-01-2020 10:54 PM

They are sueing the paps now for taking photos of Madam. The great escape wasn't thought out at all well.
I seen that in a paper Marshy, so it couldn't be true. Or could it. :smug:

Maybe if you only read the last sentence.

My own head. I don't need to read other people's opinions to form my own.

Novel concept to you, I guess.

You seem to struggle with fact and opinion.

"Harry and Meghan are moving to Canada. Harry is moving because he is forced to by his diva wife, Meghan, who wants to go shopping for handbags with Oprah Winfrey."

The first sentence the paper would be reporting a fact. The second sentence is an unsupported opinion with no basis in fact.

Class dismissed.

Marshy? That's a bit familiar, Jetty.

Exactly right....none of know half of what is going on but we all form our opinions on what we see, hear and read. Why people feel the need to belittle people on knowledge and research when what we see and read allows us an opinion on someone. Sometimes we have to agree to disagree but judging and categorising people for their opinions is unacceptable.

Jet, this is a serious question. What were you thoughts and feelings on Diana?

I really liked Diana. She had a vulnerability about her that was very human and relatable, a flawed character with a big heart. A genuinely compassionate woman.
She was like a lamb to the slaughter, a besotted 19 yr old marrying a 30 yr old man who didn't love her so she could breed some heirs. She had a rough time with the royal family, getting no help from them when she was floundering and her husband in love with someone else.
But boy, she captivated the world - and what a great Mum she was...
The peoples princess.

That's not even possible unless you never see or hear or read anything....and if that was the case then you would have never heard of Megs or Harry, or anyone for than matter.
You would make a fortune with that trick on a new TV show - It's Just Inside Marshy's Head. I'd watch it.
Now stop messing about and answer the question. :nono:

Again, you're struggling with fact and opinion. You find it impossible to distinguish between the two?

Oh so you get the difference between fact and opinion now. I hoped you would. :clap1:
FACT: Meghan made Kate cry in a dispute over Charlottes bridesmaid dress.
OPINION: Meghan only wants to move to the US to make millions.
FACT: Meghan and Harry flew on 4 private jets after preaching to us about climate change.
OPINION: Meghan likely coerced Harry into leaving the royal family.

Fact and Opinion seminar is now over. Hope it was useful.

You just copied my post and made out it was your own?

:joker:

At least you finally understood your irrational hatred of Meghan is based on nothing of substance but the regurgitation of other people's opinions. I'm proud of you.
