Fight Club. Hated it when I first saw it...but that's probably because of a mixture of its depressing appearance and its themes.
Still drains the life out of me...and still don't like it. |

I guess that's something good to say about it though - it really is a love/hate film. I think the nihilist elements in some of my friends (though now thankfully gone) thrived from the film, too.
And I can see where it's coming from - the lack of masculinity in society today. But I'm not really bothered. |

drag me to hell, it was good and jumpy at parts.

Hannah Montana the Movie. lol
It was allright but nothing special! I am now watching Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on ITV 1! :D |
I Love You Phillip Morris!
Watched it yesterday :) |

How to Train Your Dragon.
Brilliant! Especially in 3D |
|
Dawn Of The Dead (2004). It is the greatest ZOMBIE film ever.
|
Wedding Crashers
Not the best romcom I've ever seen but it was alright, plus I love Rachel McAdams. |
^I must see that!
New Moon! and the 4 hours of Special Features <3 fantastic bit of work, Chris Weitz did a great job! |
Shutter Island. Total misfire here, with Scorsese trying for a Hitchcockian type thriller with elements of The Shining mixed in for good measure, but ultimately this ends up feeling like a bad Shyamalan film, which believes that it's far more important than it really is. Silly effort.
|
Doubt. Didn't even twig the ending.
I had a lot of theories whilst watching it (i'll list in a spoiler) and didn't even think about the religious aspect of the title. Spoiler: |
Shutter Island. Exceeded my expectations and isn't the film I thought it would be; the trailers for it are totally misleading. The twist's been done before, but I didn't see it coming until just before it was revealed; good film!

Tell No One - Classy French thriller based on the novel by Harlan Coben - an author that I've always loved - and it's no surprise to me that this was a tightly woven, character driven little mystery that had me engrossed from beginning to end.
|
Shutter Island was a good film but I (unfortunately) called the twist early on in the film. The last film I watched was The Green Mile for a second time, easily in my top 5 of all time.
|
Sunshine Cleaning
It was wonderful. |
Clash of the Titans (in 3D) - it's pretty much what you'd expect, and I really didn't see the point of it bein in 3D (except, of course, for the money). I kept taking my glasses off throughout the film and it looked no different most of the time. Lazy post production.
Sam Worthington's British accent was comical at times. He'd switch from English to Australian with a bit of South African thrown in there. It was doing some good business at my local cinema though. They were queing outside the screen for the next screening as we were leaving - obviously helped by the fact it's Good Friday. |
From Hell.
