Double pay sounds good. I used to hate working Xmas and New Years Eve but got the days off in lieu at least

It is, doing my job. Normal pay is between 80-120 quid a night. depending what kind of party it is...just normal bar gigs are only 80.

Halloween gigs can be anything from 200-300. Depending on the place.

New year is like 500+ usually. Its mad, the bars cant possibly make enough to justify paying out that much...not that am complaining though ;)

gigs are usually 4-5 hours long. Though new year is usually 6.

Its not that good really though, as you only ever get booked for friday/saturday nights. And the occasional sunday for christenings :(
