I know I criticize Kobe (Mainly due to the media and his fans overrating him to a level he is not at) I really hope the Lakers make the playoffs. Even the inevitable first round bounce would occur leaving a mark against his legacy by not making the playoffs with this team let's face it leaves a MASSIVE black mark against his legacy. Which I would not like to see given his epic duels with Wade over the years

I personally feel he needs to take a step back and give the reigns over to Dwight. There is no shame in this Dwight like Lebron cannot handle the Pippen role (just as important as the Jordan role) and takes a special player to be able to play both roles in this case for team chemistry kobe needs to play the Pippen role.

Look at Bron and Wade. Both played the Jordan roles in there first season together until Wade elevated it in the finals and Bron just could not handle the Pippen role and bailed out. Wade has said numerous times after that he realised he needed to take a backseat for the best of the team I think Kobe has to do likewise. Like I said earlier it takes a special player to be able to play both roles
