Pipped to the post, it’s Marc. Poor Marc was leading the countdown for ages thanks in no part to his 54 point lead in Round 1, the highest score of all users in Most Loved 6. As ukturtle and Nathan creeped ever closer and turned it into an exciting three horse race, the reasons for why Marc is so great flooded in. With fifteen references to his ginger hair (“all the best people are a little bit nuts” is clearly a red squirrel reference and that “darker” slight was noticed, ya bunch of bitches), one might think that Marc is just popular to prove that not all gingers are boring, soulless weirdos. And you’d be right. I’m totally kidding, let’s take a look at some of the reasons why you gave Marc your votes and crowned him runner up of Most Loved 6. “TiBB's top Ginger. Where would I have been without him for the last 4 years on here? Been a loyal friend since I joined, makes me laugh and the banter we have is amazing. Did I mention he is ginger? It should make me hate him, but I can overlook that because he is so amazing.” He picked up votes “because Jen told me to”, because he’s a “cheeky chap”, because he’s “crazy in a really good way” and because “he's quite stunning isn't he, despite his disgusting nature and love for faeces, he's a great member of the forum.” One member said “I love Marc’s wacky sense of humour, always cheers me up.” He is “just a fantastic guy! Some of the things he says leave me in hysterics” and “one time he met John Stamos on a plane, and he told him he was pretty.” Marc has “made an incredible 360 turn from an irrelevant mess to a ****ing hilarious God” in the words of one member, while another said “Marc is like a ginger, less posh version of Ben. He brightens up my day and makes me smile every time I come on here. TiBB would be a darker place without him.” One member lamented that “I have only recently started posting with him quite a lot” but concluded “he is funny.” One user said “Marc is the mod I go to for most things. He always helps out where he can.” One user said they have “gotten to know him recently, and he’s brilliant fun. He is very self-effacing, which I can’t really understand because he has so much more going for him than other men who have more confidence but ultimately much less to offer. He has a great sense of humour, he’s empathetic, considerate and a bit of a cutie.” Another member said they “only recently started speaking to him but already think he's great guy. Some of his posts actually make me laugh out loud. Oh, and we got to 99 on Draw Something.” He picked up points from one user for being “one of the members I get along with best I think, easy (and enjoyable) to talk to, friendly, funny and takes it all in good spirits when being constantly abused for his hair colour” and he earned a vote from another for being “one of my favourite Tibb members for as long as I can remember. He's funny, kind hearted, always quick to offer help and has great banter with various people; a thread’s always entertaining when Marc is in it. He's daft as a brush, in a complimentary way. All the best people are a little bit nuts.” One member said “everybody's favourite Ginger is my favourite ginger. Even after Ron Weasley. Marc is down to earth and makes me laugh” while another user said “in spite of, or perhaps because of, his ginger hair - Marc is undoubtedly one of TiBB's most loved members. He's unabashedly filthy and says such crude things it makes me cringe with laughter at times!” One user said they “really admire Marc. He’s ginger, which I’m jealous of.
