Iron Giant (1999)- still can stand on it's own two feet. Still waiting for Iron Giant 2 to come out... but they would probably feck it up
8/10 Robin Hood (2010)- It was alright. Certainly an interesting perspective on the makings of Robin the Hood, but I think I still prefer the Kevin Costner "Prince of Thieves" version over it 6.8/10 |
The 2009 film about how Charles Darwin came to write On the Origin of Species, Creation
8/10 - It loses a point due to some of the licence the movie makers played with the facts, which come to light in the special features. The film is based on the book Annie's Box. Annie was the eldest child of Charles Darwin whose death devastated Charles and caused him to lose his Christian faith. The part of the film where Annie dies also brought tears to my eyes, probably because it made me think of how my mother died last year. |
Three men and a little lady. Charming.
Terminal Velocity. Brilliant! :amazed: |

I loved it, found it way sexier than overrated 50 Shades and Ryan Guzman omg he's sooo hot! 8/10 |
Heathers - 9/10
I loved it it felt like a mean girls with a murderous twist. Was very compelling from start to end and reminded me of how good of an actress Winona Ryder is. |

Cemetery Junction.
On the Box last night, based in 1973. Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant production, really enjoyed it, I am sure there was some sort of .message to it,just not sure what it was, but a happy ending all round. |

I knew this film off by heart when I was a teenager  |
The Boy Next Door - 1/10 - Pathetic excuse at filmmaking.
Exodus: Gods and Kings - 5/10 - Possibly my least favourite Bale movie.. very underwhelming. I did enjoy the last half an hour but the opening two hours were very dull. |
Urban Legend
http://ia.media-imdb.com/images/M/MV...14,317_AL_.jpg I always enjoy this one a lot. It gets quite a hard time (unfairly so imo), a big part of which is likely down to people either comparing it to Scream or just viewing it as a knock-off. There are definitely some "eyeroll" moments, but I can live with that (especially in this genre). I just find it to be a really enjoyable slasher, nothing to be taken too seriously. I also appreciate how the film creates a real atmosphere without needing to rely on excssive gore (there's much less graphic gore than usually seen in these films). Also, as a fan of the whodunit aspect of these movies, I loved the reveal of the killer and that there was a reason for what was happening. 8/10 |
Donkey Punch - 6.5/10
It's not the best of films and it's meant to be a horror but I just see it as a comedy because it's not even tense or scary. |
