If David Tennant looked nothing like David Tennant, then sure, he does quite resemble David Tennant

I still feel like Kris is a red herring by the Beeb, getting this leaked *so* early on, and with the negative feedback it's received, would be a complete damp squib.

i liked the first ep, but I agree that the daleks are so boring now, im glad they got their ep out of the way quickly..

Rob! 16-04-2017 09:27 PM

It wasn't even a dalek story though, they just had a fleeting appearance like they did in The wedding of River Song. Doesn't look like they're showing up again this series though

What does "I fatted her" mean? :worry: I don't speak lesbian.

I assumed it meant literally made her fat with all the extra chips she gave her.

.

So now that's out of the way

Marsh. 16-04-2017 09:33 PM

I like Kris Marshall, but I feel like his type of Doctor we've already seen enough of. He's a safe choice.

Like Capaldi was a risky choice in the new era where the Doctors are all young, I want them to take a risk again and try something different.

But I wouldn't be surprised if the new Doctor has already been chosen. Moffat said this regeneration would be slightly different.

Given the fact that we're going to see Simm's Master and his future incarnation Missy together, I wouldn't be surprised if the current Doctor also has scenes with his next incarnation.

fat
verb
past tense: fatted; past participle: fatted
1. make someone fat

She said she kept giving her loads of chips. :oh:

Don't make me out to be a crazy chick. :worry:

Marsh. 16-04-2017 09:34 PM

"Fatted" though, sounds like something a kid says that isn't a proper word.

LEAVE ME ALONE.

Anyone feel like Bill and Heathers lesbianism was really forced cause they only knew each other for 5 minutes

You don't have to get to know someone to fancy them. That's all it was. Bill had a crush on Heather.

Headie 16-04-2017 09:45 PM

Honestly I completely forgot Bill was even gay until the last few minutes when she said "I really liked you"

Weren't they saying the first episode would make it "explicitly clear" that Bill was gay? It felt like the opposite of that to me, the whole episode I was just thinking Bill was a bit of a loner and wanted a best friend in Heather

The opening of the episode is her telling the Doctor how she has a massive crush on a woman and then we were treated to that slow mo shot of them at the club like 50 times.

I am like the only person wanting Kris Marshall

Marsh. 16-04-2017 09:52 PM

I wouldn't be disappointed if it was him but I'd prefer someone a bit more unorthodox.
