I know they dislike him for leaving, but it is their board Arsenal fans should be aiming the majority of their anger at. Surely a club like them should have more ambition than wanting to finish in the top four?

Main man, hmm, debateable at that time. Rooney had a fantastic season and was close to him on goals. I guess, definitely main man alongside Rooney at least. No chance of him being on the bench for some games.
