Phillip Schofield congratulated the young 16 year old on his 1st semi.

Luke Humphries interviews well, comes across very articulate and intelligent

Also seems really composed I think, genuinely seems unphased by all the attention and hype around Littler

I'd like to see it but I don't have Sky.

The only tangible difference between the two that I noticed .. is that Humphries is totally consumed by being World Champion whilst Littler just wants to win every game saying “ if my game is there I win , simple “

Littler missing that double 2 to go 5-2 up was the turning point.

Humphries still has to get over the finishing line.

Those last few sets were amazing from Humphries, virtually impossible to beat that

Poor the crowd basically lost interest when he started winning even booing his last few darts. Lots of people not darts fans probably shelled out on tickets just to see Littler

He certainly lived up to his nickname.

I think there's only two players guaranteed. Van Gerwen as defending champion and Humphries as World champ and World number 1.

The other 6 places are not straight forward.

Aspinall won the World matchplay but has dipped since then.

Price had a disappointing early exit here.

Littler may not get in because of his age. They don't want to ruin him.

Peter Wright has gone South as has Johnny Clayton.

Michael Smith hasn't set the World alight since winning the World championship last year.

Rob Cross has shown some improvements over the last year. Dobey has also been playing well.

My brother in law won a few hundred quid anyway
