And he hasn't even the decency to bring the Slaters back to the forefront by axing one of the only two Slaters left and turning the other into a Fowler.

This.

Honestly the BBC needs a stricter procedure for hiring execs.

Although one move I'm glad SOC's gone with is closing the laundrette. I wouldn't have made it a dry cleaners though, I'd have merged it with minute mart and made a tesco express type place.

The decision to kill R&R wasn't worth it in the long run and it isn't even worth it short term as no one seems to give a ****

The aftermath is genuinely awful

This.

It makes no sense from a story point of view as literally in like two weeks when Jack leaves with the kids no one in the show will care.

Cal. 09-01-2017 07:47 PM

At least we can all rest easy knowing legend Stace is safe under SOC's reign since he's made her one of his precious Fowlers!

According to DS a new character arrives tonight linked to Louise.

I swear if he creates another awful Fatboy, Leon, Zsa Zsa era I'll hunt him down.

Cal. 09-01-2017 07:51 PM

Mess is it Shakil's friend who had the nudes of that girl on his phone?

Cal. 09-01-2017 07:51 PM

Ross. 09-01-2017 07:51 PM

He was terrible omg bye is he a regular

Cal. 09-01-2017 07:51 PM

Imagine killing R & R off in a Final Destination death to bring in a ****ing friend of Shakil's the following week

Marsh. 09-01-2017 07:53 PM

Apparently the drama school he goes to has tweeted good look to him as he makes his debut as an "EastEnders regular lead". :worry:

Cal. 09-01-2017 07:53 PM

Apparently Shane Richie confirmed on the One Show him and Kat are gone for good bye.

Marsh. 09-01-2017 07:54 PM

I think that was kind of obvious.

I wonder if they'd ever come back if Redwater flops.

Ross. 09-01-2017 07:55 PM

Redwater is going to be so weird

Ashley. 09-01-2017 07:55 PM

Remember when Louise cried for five minutes

Well I see we've moved on from discussing the R&R aftermath so anyway

Cal. 09-01-2017 07:59 PM

Oh appaz they might kill Alfie off in Redwater so then Kat can come back to Walford a single girlie :clap1:

LukeB 09-01-2017 07:59 PM

It feels like it's been filming for a decade tbh.

Marsh. 09-01-2017 08:01 PM

It's certainly had more build up than any story in the show's history.

March/April apparently.

The fact that even now it's finished filming they STILL haven't confirmed an airdate suggests the BBC doesn't have faith in it.

Saturday 11pm air times book mark me.
